Biden was not capable of running for President, they knew that a long time ago. They sabotaged their primary process and prevented challengers like RFK Jr., Cornell West, and Marion Williamson from participating.

Kamala did not have to debate any of these people, she didn't have to campaign for herself to get votes. She got to skip that completely.

If Trump was down 5-10 points and looked and sounded like he was about to die I’d be begging Republicans to keep him on the ticket and go down with the ship. If they opted to replace him I’d want nothing more than a messy, drawn out primary that lasted from tomorrow until the day before the election and resulted in the chudliest, most batshit insane candidate imaginable. I get where you’re coming from. Gerald Ford once half-joked that an impeachable offense is whatever the House of Representatives says it is, and he’s not totally wrong. The Constitution gives a few broad categories of offenses only, and it’s common for both GOP and Dems to disagree on what’s impeachable. So yeah, the process can be weaponized to a degree. I think if Tulsi felt it was being weaponized, she should have the courage and conviction to vote “No” and say why.

As an example of a weaponized process, I’d point to the current impeachment inquiry of Joe Biden. This thing has been going on for like 16 months, they’ve found no real wrongdoing, have no real idea what exactly they’re looking for, and they’re not even holding regular hearings. They just schedule a hearing anytime they need some political cover, and engage in this impeachment theater. Republicans have gotten absolutely owned in some of those hearings, but you’d never know it by reading the House reports, or watching conservative media. It’s just kind of a circus.


I agree the 2nd impeachment was far worse. And the Senate actually tried to dismiss the charges without holding a trial, looking at any evidence, or hearing from a single witness, remember that?? Fucking crazy. I wish I could see the future to find out if we ever successfully convict a POTUS on impeachment articles, and what it finally was. If what Trump did isn’t impeachable conduct, I can’t imagine what is.

I personally think her vote sends a good message to other members. Yes Trump has issues and has done things a president shouldn't do, but the reason they impeached him was wrong. That's my view.

My personal opinion is that Trump and Biden are guilty (like most ) of the same thing. The difference being that Trump came in as a businessman, where as Biden has spent his whole time in Political office doing exactly what they are accusing Trump of.

Biden is as corrupt as Trump, did most of it during his lengthy political career and most of Trumps worst actions occurred prior or in a different time of life. Doesn't make Trumps actions any different, but in my opinion the Democrats tried to weaponize impeachment whilst having just as sordid a history of corruption especially in biden's case.

Again I can't vote in the US election and I am just an outsider, but anybody who thinks one side is magically better than the other in the corrupt system, is purely bias. Same shit, different party, it just comes down to whether youn want a guy who can get shot and pump his fist as your leader or Kamala Harris at this point. Same thing happened in Aus a few years ago where we had our first female Prime minister after her party replaced the elected leader. You need a strong person to take that first go at it and I don't think that person is Kamala.
