There is no VP choice that will win over diseffected voters because people staying home aren't staying home because one capitalist dem is picked over the other. Kamalas not winning over diseffected voters shes more likely to turn away people who would have voted for Biden. People forget she was the bougie frontrunner in 2020 had all the corporate backing in the world then she opened her mouth and it vanished.


Heres the thing I'm very doubtful that people who truly cared about Bidens senility and were begging for a replacement were considering voting for Trump. They wanted Biden replaced because they were afraid he couldn't win. The actual audience of people who were going to

a)vote for Biden
b)decided he was senile so switched to voting for "threat to "democracy"" whose like 2 or 3 years younger
c)switched back because the Dems nominated Kamala Harris.

In the little time they let her get in front of the camera all she did was cackle and say stupid shit. That's why they hid her. Now she is pushed out front we will see just more of the same.
 
What we do no for sure is neither Trump or the DEI hire is going to bring US together. We are going to continue to push further apart.
 
If you didn't like the Biden presidency you're not likely going to feel any different about a Harris one. I don't seem any real change in policy happening other than the real potential of going further Left. There will be no improvement in the border situation, there will be no inflation improvement, there will be no improvement in antisemitism unless the US starts backing away from Israel, there will be continued and increasing attacks on 2A and the 1st, there will likely be an increased leaning into DEI, there will likely be an increased leaning into Trans issues, etc

Not that Trump will be person to particularly fix any of it, but I'm just saying if you were dissatisfied with Biden you'll likely be dissatisfied with Harris as well.

Well, ol unlikeable Hillary ended up winning the popular vote against Trump, and Trump won that election because of very small margins in key swing states. I think despite all of the laws to restrict voting that Republicans have passed these last few years, it will still be hard to replicate that.

There’s a ways to go before the election, but let’s keep an eye on how Kamala is received as she continues to campaign. Things might be about to get interesting.

Ok, now let’s look at Trump’s numbers in 2000, and how he couldn’t even get a candidacy off the ground in 2012.
Even Biden didn’t last long in 1988, or twenty years later in 2008, but 2020 was different, obviously.

Kamala’s numbers in 2020 are an indicator maybe, but this isn’t a primary. She’s one-on-one with Trump, whom half the country despises (and half the country practically worships). We’ll see how it shakes out as time goes on.

I wonder how many voters feel like this guy below. I def have seen a lot of the opposite, people who have fallen in line, no question, and 100% behind Kamala, but that seems to be more the boomers. I can’t help but think there has got to be a number of people who feel mislead and betrayed by all this, especially more moderates.



WSJ reporting that last time Biden addressed house dems on policy was back in October of fricken 2021, and even then was not making sense and was an embarrassment for Pelosi.

Once this settles in and more people take a step back and realize we have had a Manchurian candidate for basically his entire presidency, and people like Kamala covered it up, as we experienced record inflation, two proxy wars now, etc. and they just lied about how great the economy is, how crime is amazing, best foreign policy president ever.

Only to have another retard puppet forced upon them. I just don’t see it going over well

That was October 2021. That month was the last time Biden met with the House Democratic caucus on the Hill regarding legislation.

For the record, abolishing ICE doesn’t mean there’s no immigration agency and all the undocumented immigrants run free. Both ICE, and the Department of Homeland Securtiy, are post-9/11 agencies. There was no such thing as ICE before 9/11.

For most of my young life, immigration was handled through an agency called the INS, the Immigration and Naturalization Service, which was part of the DOJ. And actually it’s first few years of existence, the INS was under the Dept of Labor.

My point is, there’s a lot of ways to handle immigration other than how it’s done now. I am not part of the “abolish ICE” crowd (yet), but I do think we need a major overview of that agency. For an agency with as much power as they have, and as big a budget as they have, and for only existing for less than 25 years, they haven’t faced nearly as much scrutiny or accountability as they should.
 
It's early, but it damn sure looks like all the focus on Biden's decline is backfiring a bit on the R's. We basically had most Dems either in denial or that accepted Joe wasn't fit and covered for him until it was just too obvious and they couldn't anymore.
But man, that's the thing: once they all came out and essentially admitted it and put enough pressure on Joe to withdraw, their supporters (and even some undecideds) have seemed to RUSH the fuck back into the fray with renewed vigor. Money coming in, etc.
The Dems getting Joe off the ticket is basically their apology to their base and telling them "we hear you, he's too old was declining...took us awhile but we get it."

And it might not matter that they have replaced him at the top of the ticket with a very unlikeable and annoying candidate that seems to have no clue about certain parts of the job. She's gonna start with plenty of electoral votes by default. And given that she's against a guy who's hated by a LOT of people and who has shown he motivates people to vote against him no matter the opponent, (and Trump has since also been convicted of crimes)...it could be very interesting in November.

If you'd have told me a couple weeks ago it was Trump vs Harris I'd have said it would be an easy win for Trump. But I'm now not so sure at all. Even an objectively poor candidate like Kamala has their party excited and just happy it's not the ghost of Biden.
