In her 2019 book, “The Truths We Hold,” Harris called the wall “useless” and said it was “nothing more than a symbol, a monument standing in opposition to not just everything I value, but to the fundamental values upon which this country was built.”

I'm sensing you see what we all see that Harris is kicking Trump's ass, or gaining ground. Trump's tired old message of doom & gloom the sky is falling is just not resonating, the stock market crash if Biden was elected in 2020, well Biden was elected and the markets didn't crash they grew the only thing that's crashing is the Truth Social value like many of Trump's businesses of the past. According to Trump, America is now a 3rd world country, do you even believe that?

You know why Harris's message of joy and hope resonates with people: people want something to believe in even if you don't believe in God, you believe in hope which was what Obama won on and gave Trump a thriving economy when he finished his back-to-back term that their life can be better. The 1% which Trump protects are not the ones who don't need his protection, they doing just fine without him. What was Trump's real-world response to those who support him and want real solutions for their day-to-day lives?

I'm serious when I say Kamala is still on the table for me to vote for her but when I see stuff like this, it's a hell no. Again, who determines what is "hate speech" and who determines what is "misinformation"? I legitimately don't understand how someone can make such an ignorant, naive and short sighted statement.

"Hate" speech is just speech that can be hateful. If I call you a fucking idiot, is that "hate speech"? How do you define it? What if I called Trump the same thing? Are we just not allowed to use emotion anymore? As for misinformation, MSBNC said that the COVID-19 vaccine prevented you from getting COVID and stopped the spread. Was that misinformation or just a mistake? What's the penalty? Do they get pulled from the air? Fined?

Let's say you do pass those laws. Well 4 years from now, what if a Republican gets in the office. Now they have control over those laws. Do you not think that they could use those against you? It's such an authoritarian and yes, Commie way of thinking that is just baffling to me.

How about we just all have free speech and we debate ideas. Is it really that hard?

I'd argue, her speech is at least somewhat vague. Trump has been explicit in his direct opposition to major parts of the Constitution.

You think you are seriously going to get fined for calling people "mean names" on twitter..."End Wokeness" is troll twitter account meant to scare you into enabling Trump to win. You also have to account for the fact that we have a Far Right SCOTUS that probably would protect hate speech more than anything so relax. I am sure there is more context to this quote too because Trump has not been sperging about it on truth social.

Again, like always with Kamala (and Trump too), their supporters are ignoring what she's saying and using whataboutism.

She clearly specified that she wants some kind of law in place that would punish "hate speech" and "misinformation". That's like saying you want to punish anything that is "bad". What does that even mean?

At the very least, it sounds like she wants to take down X if they don't police what they determine is hate and misinformation. That's basically a Ministry of Truth and people that hate when Trump says absurd anti-constitutional garbage, they should be equally disturbed by this stuff.
