Elections Kamala Harris for POTUS

But Trump reeeeee

bring on the joy

meanwhile there was no riot and it remained peaceful. not like the violent capitol insurrection which will forever remain a stain on the nations history, where over 140 cops were assaulted by violent heaps of maga trash. and it wasn't even at all like the fiery but mostly peaceful isolated incidents that occured during the 2020 summer of love after some racist white cops murdered a strong black global hero in cold blood either.

they sold us wolf tickets.

I said Harris Walz campaign was going to out spend poorly run RNC "Trump run RNC" on ads on Fox it's not even close. Fox is like show me the money I don't work for free like you're used to Donald. RNC run much like Trumps other failed businesses and FOX knows this fact and are like show me the money first no IOU's this time. FOX be like you already cost us 700 million dollars we need money first. MSNBC and CNN both need money upfront too this is nothing personal it's just business and Donald's team good at running failed businesses.

They know that trying to prevent the certification of an election -and storming congress to do it- is so much worse than anything the loony left has come up with.... and just hate having to own it. And a big reason why they hate having to own it is that they felt entitled to do it in the first place and resent the entire framing of the event as being wrong from top to bottom.

Kamala should get along well with Trump. She likes rich white dudes so much she married one!

What do you all think of the Harris plan to address the housing price crisis?

The biggest criticism I've heard is that the 25k credit for first time home buyers would just inflate the price of homes further, and I can see that criticism. The main points, though, I think are right. In order to address the housing price crisis, we need to get 3 million new "starter homes" built and bar investment firms from buying them. That seems like the right plan to me... as far as the 25k credit goes, I think the timing is key. If we can get a couple million new homes built THEN issue the credit, I think it would work. If we just issue the credit without the new homes, yeah, it probably wouldn't accomplish much.

Does Trump even have a plan to address the housing crisis? If so, haven't heard it.

That part strikes me as unnecessary and a distraction. The core issue is not investment firms buying up houses but rather a lack of supply stemming from local NIMBYism. I disagree with the $25k subsidy for first time homebuyers for the reason you stated there but I've read an argument for it that suggests to me its not a clearly bad policy like the price gouging nonsense she was going on about.

Based on the Project 2025 plan Trump would try to strengthen single family zoning which is largely to blame for the housing crisis so while I have some nitpicks of Harris' plan its probably significantly better than what Trump would come up with.

Trump would come up with nothing.

That's the point.

One party proposes solutions. The other just mocks them without ever proposing anything in return... except cutting taxes for billionaires and corporations.

It's nakedly transparent.

At best he would come up with nothing, at worst he would propose what we see in Project 2025 which is to strengthen the very single family zoning that has largely generated the housing crisis.

this is why our country is in such turmoil. Like yourself, many are going to vote for a candidate whose only policies they’ve presented so far you disagree with.

Ahh, come on — it’s not that bad!
