The VP has pretty much always been more of a ceremonial position. What does "second in command" even mean ? Everything goes through the president. The VP does whatever the president wants them to do, but it's not like the VP has much of any direct power. Arguably, the first lady often seems to have more sway and influence than the VP does. The speaker of the House and Senate majority leader has more power than the VP. The VP only becomes relevant in the unlikely case that the president dies.

Who are all these people saying she was "chosen as his successor"? She was chosen as the VP for the exact same reason that all VPs are chosen: to help Biden get more votes to win the presidency.
That's why Harris chose Walz as her VP instead of another woman, or a black guy. VPs are not chosen for the specific task of 'taking over in case I die'.

Her input and ideas only matter if Biden wants them. I don't understand why that's hard to understand. She isn't the president. She doesn't get to put out her agenda as the VP.
Biden has his own agenda and ideas, so why would he take hers? He thinks he's doing a good job. And it's her job to do whatever the hell he tells her to do.

Notice how when we speak of Harris we must have specifics like what exactly she will do to lower inflation.

Meanwhile Trump and Vance are running on policies that are guaranteed to increase inflation and people like Rob will never contend with that.

You're talking about babies blood and all sorts of nonsense. That post was like an unhinged TDS rant that I would have expected from some other people but not you. Maybe you're the one getting swept up into left wing propaganda? My father in law's algorithm has swept him up in the same thing and you two sound oddly alike. Take a step back and breathe. Don't be like these TDS guys that have spent the better part of the last decade pretending like we're talking about Hitler here.

I'll say it one last time. If I see that an elderly person has a really tough time stringing sentences together and walking around in general, I'm going to assume they're not fit to occupy the most important job in the world.

If that makes me a radical right wing conspiracy theorist then I guess that's what I am. If you truly think that, I don't know where it puts you but it's definitely not on the thinking coherently spectrum. That's for sure.

You must not be reading my posts. I have also said he is unfit but you have exaggerated that and tried to pretend he's never coherent and that someone else is running the country for him.

That's where you cross over into CT territory man and you're being disingenuous. There has been absolutely nothing that we have seen from Biden that would suggest that he is never coherent or even usually incoherent.

He's just sometimes incoherent and that's bad. I'm with you man. It's really bad but don't exaggerate for partisan reasons.
