There were three mass shootings on a school campus last year with eight dead kids (two of the shooters were black male and the other was a white trans woman). That out of 2,026 kids who were shot to death last year (641 ages 0-11 and 3,871 ages 12-17).

Seems like perhaps some projection on your part? Given that you replied to a post where I said Harris looked bad in her debate performance. An opinion echoed by numerous left wing posters on this forum. It's a weird one to get hurt feelings about TBH.

I think they just needed anyone semi coherent to be viable option for people who want to vote against Trump to vote for. There are a lot of people who don't want Trump but we're probably too concerned about the state of Biden to vote for him.

It is funny watching the instant shift in real time to pretending Kamala Harris is some cunning linguist and master debater. There was already a thread when it was going to be Vance/Harris, and not even left wingers had any confidence in her. There's a near perfect overlap in the people who thought Biden was going to "destroy" Trump in their debate, when now we know that it went so well that his own party made him drop out of the race.

This is the same lady who admitted on television that she thought the point of a debate was to lie slander with shit she doesn't even believe herself. Stephen Colbert asked her why she called Joe Biden a racist, and her only response was to keep repeating "it was a debate" and start cackling uncontrollably. It was also a debate that sent her support in primary right down the shitter and she never recovered and suspended her campaign before the primary.

1. She is unlikeable. Her polls on favorability are always low.
2. She is a poor speaker, laughs at inappropriate times. This will be weaponized by the right. Media blasts with all her giggling and nonsense word salads.
3. She is biracial but really was raised Indian. Moved to Canada at 12 with her Indian mother and grandparents. She uses her black heritage when it benefits her. That could be weaponized as well.
4. She is not a dummy but politically she has no clue on issues--there are dozens of videos of her failing, many in this thread already. She doesn't know HOW to speak like a politician. Before Biden was old, he was a pro. She never was, or will be, because she isn't a politician. She knows the law, but not foreign policy or economics. Post together some clips and put them on social media, and she will have to fight that.
5. Her ONLY chance is by choosing the right VP. Can't be gay, can't be a far lefty. They have to try to win swing states, purple states. I don't think they can because they have too much ammo against her.

—2 posts below that is a “her family owned slaves” post (the connection itself is not proven, it’s super misleading to phrase it that way rather than saying “she’s (possibly) descended from slave owners, something that’s true of many people with Jamaican heritage and also true of many African Americans here in the US, evidence indicates she’s probably descended from both slaves and slave owners).
