Just Rewatched Khabib vs. RDA

I could see Conor catching Khabib while Khabib comes in wild with his punches but I say Khabib mauls Conor for 5 rounds with ease. Conor has a punchers chance in that fight and that's it.

I agree that Pettis should've won the alvarez fight. But he got backed up so easy. Conor put some ridiculous pressure on Mendes & I don't see Pettis reacting well to that. I'd love to see it tho. They're my fave LW's & both are exciting as hell

Chad is one of my favourites no doubt and undoubtedly he is a very good athlete, but that doesn't mean he has great BJJ

Connor doesn't need space to strike like Pettis does.... McGoat consistently moves foward... Pettis would be on the defensive from the opening bell. I think you're underestimating how good Conor's mma footwork is
 
He is very open when closing up distance and it will be his demise. I think there are some tough match ups for Conor but Khabib is not one of them.

#3. Khabib's stand up defense was pretty decent except when he was attacking.

#4.Khabib's main offense was holding. Holding against the fence, holding on the ground. Just holding man. He did have some success with GnP in round 3 but, never hurt RDA. RDA was just basically held onto the entire fight.

#4.RDA is better now. I think he hits harder and is more explosive. Otherwise, his style is pretty much the same.

In a rematch I think RDA wins. I think Conor beats them both.

Khabib outstruck RDA on the feet and technique wise is probably the best wrestler in the UFC, maybe in all of MMA. I see a rematch going very similar.

Idk about Conor beating Khabib, he could probably box him up, but Khabib would almost certainly drag him to the ground and rough him up.

Conor got back to his feet almost every time Mendes took him down, then he ko'd him....you might want to rewatch that fight.
 
Big call man. I don't know how Conor would go vs 2014 Khabib. I think it'd be ugly to be honest.

I echo your sentiments on the fight though, he didn't 'ragdoll' him all over the cage like people have been saying.

??? he looked up at the ref so many times because he didn't know what else to do - watch the end of the first round when the bell saves him. I think u need to rewatch

This is stupid. Conor has had zero LW fights and the one LW fight he was signed for was during the 2 years Khabib has been sitting out with injuries.

If Conor dominates Diaz (which he should), I'd like to see that fight, more than RDA (who I think beats him), and Lawler, (who will beat him).

Not at all, it's almost the best in the UFC. That and his length make him extremely dangerous. 155 is just a different animal, and Pettis isn't completely ineffective with pressure on him. Without the threat of the takedown, I see him letting his hands and feet fly. We haven't seen anyone with the striking to take Conor out of his game. Pettis has it.

Ehhhhhh, Dominick Cruz would disagree.
Despite how close the Dillashaw fight, that was the most technically nuanced version of Cruz to date.
Not saying Khabib is Cruz level fight planner, but playing Devil's advocate usually makes for better analysis.
