My thoughts:

#1. Joe was in love with Khabib the entire fight.

#2. Khabib's stand up offense was pretty bad. Just wild swinging and jumping to get the TD.

#3. Khabib's stand up defense was pretty decent except when he was attacking.

#4.Khabib's main offense was holding. Holding against the fence, holding on the ground. Just holding man. He did have some success with GnP in round 3 but, never hurt RDA. RDA was just basically held onto the entire fight.

#4.RDA is better now. I think he hits harder and is more explosive. Otherwise, his style is pretty much the same.

In a rematch I think RDA wins. I think Conor beats them both.

If Khabib ever fights again, he will be stuck in 2014.

RDA is tough as hell, very strong and very good on the mat (3rd degree black belt) - don't be surprised that Khabib couldn't do much more then hold when they were on the ground. Conor does not have that level of a ground game - hell he couldn't even get a natural 135 pounder off of him. Whats Mcgregor's weakness? As with many European fighters (and we saw it in the Mendes fight) = grappling - what's Khabib best at = Grappling

Khabib has never lost unlike Connor and RDA

Khabib is gonna be hungry for that money and that successs while Connor and RDA have had thier fill

you guys are gonna see the monster version of Khabib in 2016

He won't just hold guys down..he will also punch them now

Probably worse after all his injuries.
Yeah, at best he is at the level he was 2014. Maybe worse, and look how much better other guys in the division have gotten since then. Khabib needs a LOT of Octagon time. Will be an interesting year for him. Needs at least three fights this year.

Funny how most said the same about Cruz going into the Dillashaw fight. Nurmagomedov is an absolute beast at LW.

Yet the UFC is keeping him away from Conor.

While I agree with most of your analysis, you kinda kill it with your last line.

Would you like to elaborate on that?

Not saying Conor would or wouldn't beat either of them, but what skill set has he shown to make you believe that??

Based on what I've seen from the 3 of them so far, I'd say Conor's got a puncher's chance against the other 2 and that's about it.

Have you seen something I haven't?

Mendes is a natural 145. Just because he could cut to 135, doesn't make that his natural weight class.

McGregor is a natural 155.

Cruz had already showed he could return from a long injury layoff and dominate.

I haven't seen that fight since it happened, but I agree with you when you say RDA takes the rematch. Khabib has been out for so long while RDA has improved so much. I think RDA is to well rounded now and far to explosive. Also his conditioning is on another level and if they fought a five rounder I think it's definitely RDA's fight.

Khabib is never going to earn big money coz he has a boring fight style and he can't speak English very well
Can't imagine him on jimmy Kimmel

I completely agree John wick, Khabib is a monster in there. The forward pressure and level changes are very aggressive but well timed. Ya, his punches could be tighter, but that is the loose style he brings in there too. I do not see him as just a brawler winging em in there. I want to go back and watch all his fights now and see if anyone has success getting him to fight going backwards, who, how, and Khabibs reaction.

It's hilarious to watch people invent threats to dethrone Mcgregor. The only two things that can beat Conor is a KO punch or a submission. You will not dry hump him for 5 rounds. At some point Conor will catch them or break there will in my opinion. I'm not a huge fan of Conors persona but his biggest strength is his self belief. You won't break him mentally. Khahib would get brutally KO'd imo.

Fuck Jimmy Kimmel.

Yeah but not against the champ. People thought Cruz would lose to Barao at one stage... pfft, give me a break.
