Just push the opponent against the fence

You may not like it, but it's pretty hard to make a case that the other guy should win when he's always getting pushed back and can't mount any offense at all.

they both landed about the same only thing that won colby this fight was the pressure and takedown attempts.

I mean the other guy outlanded him sooo...

well yeah, not like it's a new strategy. controlling someone and point fighting 75% of the fight with the occasional striking exchange was the norm in high level fights for a long time. How do you think people like GSP had such good records? you don't beat everyone just by swangin and bangin which can make it into a 50/50

Correction: if you can't Greco-Roman wrestle, f off! (Brazilians can't wrestle.)

What's preventing the opponent from doing the same?

That's the problem with the fence honestly and it now giving guys easier time standing up.

The best place to keep a guy is the fence, don't go hard for the takedown or to do damage. Most of these fighters don't have the awareness or footwork set to stop a persistent greco clinch wrestler from grabbing them yet.

Hey man, if you can do that, you deserve the win.

It’s not as easy as you think it is

By that logic “just don’t get pushed into the fence”

You have to acknowledge what Colby did was impressive

Thats bullshit guys.

You cannot Win a fight Just by pushing a Guy against the fence. The main principle in MMA is try to kill your enemy.

MMA is not a gay wrestling fight. As It is not a jiu jitsu fight , that you pull the guard and gets the advantage
