Just got my Bas Rutten Cd's. . . . HOLY ****!!!

I love the all round workout! It is a crazy workout. My legs are still kinda sore and its day 3 lol
 
just got mine and watched the intro dvd holy sh*t!!!!!!that looks like its going to hurt! but i think this will be a great way to get back into shape .and i love the fact that i can do it at home. i loved watching him beat the sh*t out of frank!!!
 
That workout is absolutely brutal. You'll wish you were dead. The next day you'll feel great/
 
These cds kick ass, my ass. Matter of fact they are gonna kick my ass in an hour after man vs wild.
 
Here's where I'm kinda stuck...

I'm getting my gf in on this, so we're going to be doing it together, which is fine, I'll go first, do however many rounds and then she'll go.

But is 5-6 rounds of 2min. (boxing) really enough for a workout? It's only 15-17 minutes, and while I know how hard you work during the rounds, is it enough to have an effect?
She hasn't worked out in a long time, so I dont want to her to do the all-around fighting right away because she'll hurt herself, like I did, lol.

If you do it right, it'll be enough.
 
i love the all- around- workout but im way to slow for the boxing stuff (with a bag) at the moment.
still, one of the best investments i made and i constantly try to sell it to other people =)
 
with a heavy bag or thai pads, nothing beats bas's cds.

after watching the last season; I tried two minute thai rounds with my nose plugged whilst using a taped snorkel.

not fun.

No, I have in the past, but any boxing/kickboxing training I've done in the gym was always over an hour. Thus my question.

Tried it last night, she did 5 2min rounds on focus mitts and loved it. And yes, she was bagged after.

If you listen to Bas the 5-6 rounds at 2 minutes will give ya a great workout. You gotta remember to do everything 100% use good kicks and hard knees, remember to twist your body from right to left and left to right. Oh yes and always keep your hands up. Sad I can hear Bas saying this shit in my head as I type it out.
 
hahaha my favorite part is in the all round workout when he wants you to do neck excercise and says "This will pump ur neck up" it just makes me laugh everytime i hear it
 
Been doing the boxing tape since mid december, down 30 pounds so far.

Has anyone else noticed an increase in muscle size from the All Around Workout CD and how many times a week are you guys doing 2 for me from soreness
 
Do you still get the kickboxing workout in the big dvd of combat?

Yeah, I have too. I do it three times a week (Monday, Wed, Sat. morning).
