    With a Phd in Statistics, he could do a load of shite.

    He could become an actuary or go into investing or a whole lot of stuff. The world is all probabilistic.

    Actually I'm taking the probability actuarial exam in March for giggles. My plan if I didn't get into grad school was to go to the local herp derp school, get my masters in math while taking actuarial exams, and after I finish be an actuary.
    Haha my favorite is the joke about the three mathmaticians. One pure, one applied, and one statistician. For a job interview they are each asked what is one-third times three. The applied mathematician goes ".9999999...", the pure math guy goes "1", and the statistician goes"That depends, what do you want it to be?"
    Meh, it's really cool but I kinda want to do environmental statistics.
