Just finished rewatching The Sopranos again and...

Gonna re-watch Deadwood.
Might just give The Sopranos another go.

I rewatched a few episodes and it didn't age well. Had they got rid of those unneccessary filler episodes with AJ and Meadow, it would have been much better

I never got the hype about it. I have seen most episodes and dont see anything special. Its more about their daily lives, than an actually criminal workings and how it affects them like The Wire. Now Gomorrah blows The Sopranos out into space.

You don't think so? When I rewatched season 1 I was thinking how great the dialogue and acting was even 20 years later.

It was a great show, until the last couple of seasons, which diminish it when you talk about it being the goat series. I thought The Wire was better.

Sopranos
Game of Thrones
The Wire
Friday Night Lights
Breaking Bad

I wish they had continued Deadwood..
Now thats some seriously good TV.

And GOT? Piss poor CGI and yawn..
The big bitch fighting the bear... looked like a video games from yesteryears.

Rewatched it multiple times but I skip a few episodes here and there. I don't do that with BB and certainly not with the Wire when I rewatch them.

Sopranos is an incredibly done show and their characters are so well done that I can't rewatch certain episodes because they are so good at playing their role.

I legit want to light Janice on fire

great show but tended to jump around alot. big fan, but after binge watching it, there were definitely continuity gaps. some top notch acting though no doubt. especially edie falco imo.

It's the best.

'Big Love' had a fantastic shorter run.

Everyone in this thread needs to watch Rome.
Rumor has it that HBO axes the series prematurely in favor of GOT. Some actors like Kevin McKidd didn't want any GOT role because of this. Its a shame that Rome didn't have better ratings despite the good quality of the 2 seasons.

Big Love was a big surprise to me. I didn't think I would've enjoyed as much as I did. Kinda sad that both Gandolfini and Paxton are no longer with this.

Overated.

90% of that show is an alleged "alpha" crime boss who has family issues in his own home or is talking to a shrink.

Peaky Blinders is a much better gangster show.

Couldn't really get into it, hated most of the characters, but I'm like that with a lot of gangster media. Godfather 2 I hated Michael, so following that prick for so much of the film didn't help.
