JURASSIC WORLD v.2 (Dragonlord's Review)

Combination of nostalgia fans and new fans. Fans as in general audience. Especially ppl with families.

Average summer flick but i can see why it got up there lol.

This is utterly baffling to me. The idea that this film could break even $400 Million World Wide, let alone become the all-time number 3, is just asinine and insane. Seriously, what the fuck. Film was absolute dogshit.

It depresses me a little how much this makes. It incentivices bad filmmaking.

Glad I didn't have to pay for my ticket.

You and me both. I feel pretty warm and fuzzy knowing I didn't contribute any money to this disaster.

It also depresses me too because now Universal is probably going to try and push a sequel that's extremely similar in tone, etc. I won't pay for that one either. :icon_lol:

I don't understand how people who watched this movie in theaters can complain about how much money it's making when people like them are literally the reason it's making money

I didn't pay to see it.

Goddamn I want this movie to shatter every possible record. The melodramatic/completely rustled reactions in this thread are just priceless.

The story was terrible. It was probably the worst out of the franchise.

I get why it made a lot of money. Nostalgia, dinosaurs, action scenes, Chris Pratt etc.

Still had a shit story, shit characters, forced drama that didn't add anything and super corny scenes. It was entertaining because it had dinosaurs and some of the fight scenes were cool to look at, but it wasn't a good movie by any strech of the word.

I just hope the sequel will be a bit better in terms of story and characters.

^ That's pretty much how I'd rate them too.

JW was decent, compared to the previous 2 which were horrible... and nothing will touch the original.

Still don't understand how it broke all those records though. Thought it was ok, but nothing that special.

I swear, Sherdog is the most negative and cynical message board in the world. Whether you liked the movie or not, getting angry and furious over the fact that it is very successful is just laughable to me. Like come on you fucking nerds it's just a movie.

WTF?! The movie was decent, but it never crossed my mind that it could gross so high.

Given that Avatar and Avengers are #1 and #4 respectively, its that not surprising. Those are two of the worst blockbusters I have ever seen, Jurassic World is far more entertaining.

It was alright, I left the theater satisfied. It started out kinda slow with too much melodramatic shit, but the last half of the movie was enjoyable. Would rate it a 7.
