Is he going to be able to keep his IBF title? He's talking about unification but isn't Zuffa using their own titles?

Well good luck to him. I’m not sure it’s a good move for a fighter of his calibre though. He’s limiting the standard of competition he’s gonna face and he’ll have to fight at HW. Who’s he gonna fight at CW.

Now some fans on social media are even speculating that Usyk may've signed with Zuffa. I hope he's smarter than that.

I saw Vergil Ortiz's manager saying Zuffa boxing is paying more than most other promoters. I don't know how true that is but it'll be something to see Dana treat boxers better than fighters in the UFC and watch the mental gymnastics of MMA fighters and fans convincing themselves that actually they don't deserve better.

It will be something to see Dana treat boxers in Zuffa better than boxers outside of Zuffa and watch the mental gymnastics of boxing fans convincing themselves that this is somehow bad for boxing.
The only people in boxing more than those in MMA are the .1% of top fighters. Thanks to Dana, men (and women) on the fringe of the top 50 are able to make six figures.
MMA has settled into its status as 2nd class bumfights now.
Basically nobody will even bother to highlight the discrepancy in pay between boxers and MMA fighters.
It's also worth pointing out that 'Dana' does not treat or pay anyone differently. He does not own TKO and is not responsible for any of that. This is just Saudi money filtered through TKO.
UFC usually does have beautiful clauses. Boxers managers and promoters too. Also they does have event's promoter etc reality.
Plus in pro boxing final authority to approve fight card is up to event's promoter and reg authority officials.
Sometimes boxer promoter is the same as event's promoter.
Feel difference it it isn't the same.
Relationships between all these and team/ manager .....
Papers...etc.
Cautious matchmaking etc.
However boxers usually are allowed to have their brand and ad deals. Ofc again difference directly with some company or via agent etc....
