enjoyable movie. but a shit movie. srsly. i couldn't stop thinking how ALL of them are gonna get sued. just....heavily sued.

she sucked. her fault for the whole thing, really.

i did not care about those two kids' family issues. at all. not necessary to the plot at all.

theres no way they can make a sequel to this.

And there are lots of ways to enjoy a movie. Pulp Fiction is my favorite movie of all time, mostly due to the writing. Pacific Rim was one of my favorite recent movies because it had giant fucking monsters fighting. I couldn't give a damn about the characters and their backstories, I was there to watch monsters fight and that's what I got. Same with Jurassic World.

JURASSIC WORLD Becomes No. 3 Movie of All Time Worldwide

Universal and Amblin Entertainment's Jurassic World has hit $1.522 billion at the global box office, eclipsing The Avengers ($1.520 billion) to become the No. 3 movie of all time behind Avatar ($2.788 billion) and Titanic ($2.186 billion), not accounting for inflation.

Jurassic World, directed by Colin Trevorrow, has earned $614.3 million domestically, becoming only the fourth film to ever cross $600 million. Its overseas haul is $907.3 million. The box-office sensation stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. Universal has yet to announce plans for Jurassic World 2, but a sequel is all but guaranteed.

The opening weekend record was just the beginning. Universal Pictures’ Jurassic World is the biggest hit of 2015, and following a massive $208.8 million opening weekend—which surpassed previous record holder The Avengers—the film continued to climb up both the domestic and international charts.

Well the dino-hit has notched another milestone in its belt, and this one’s a biggie: At $1.522 billion worldwide, Jurassic World has now become the third highest grossing film of all time, sitting behind Titanic at No. 2 with $2.186 billion and Avatar at No. 1 with $2.788 billion (per THR). In order to hit that spot, Jurassic World edged out—you guessed it—Marvel’s The Avengers, which was the previous No. 3 with $1.520 billion.

Now this doesn’t account for inflation, which posits a very different list (domestically, accounting for inflation, the top three films are Gone with the Wind, Star Wars, and The Sound of Music), but it’s still a boatload of money any way you slice it. And with the number three spot, Jurassic World has solidified itself in movie history as one of the biggest films ever made.

Actually watched a few movies this summer and I gave JW a 4/10. It was slightly better than stepping in dog shit.
