I'm for removing Columbus day and more about celebrating the old and new world coming together. I actually believe that MLK day is just about MLK when he was not the only person who fought for blacks even in his time. Plus all the people that pave the way for him should be represented. That's why a day like juneteenth would be good. Make it about the black struggle through time.

I am all for replacing Columbus day with Indegenous Peoples' day. We need far more appreciation and recongnition of Amerindians.

I lived in Texas for quite sometime and I don't remember anyone actually celebrating the day. Definitely heard people mention it in passing though.

If they don't make this a federal holiday, it would seem reasonable to have some holiday to commemorate when the slaves were freed.

Bad troll job for two reasons.
1. There’s already a thread covering this topic
2. You know damn well who the shooters are and what their race is. This has been on the national news by a few outkets(mostly conservative) but it is total fucking crickets with the usual race baiting grifters that tweet non-stop about how Black Lives Matter, but only when it is a cop or white person
