I was over there yesterday at gfv for the old car show thing. I love the gog and magog clock. Also had a ball people watching with my brother in law people and talking all kinds of shit

Highlight was the suffragettes marching and singing and I went into role playing mode and heckled em telling them get back in the kitchen like God meant for you and some purple hair random that wasn't in the March started tripping and security or the police or whatever had to come see what the fuck was going on. I expected the girls to snap back with something funny not some tds Rachel Zeigler ( weird weird) dude to blow a gasket.

I took my folks on Saturday and I was a little overwhelmed by it all in a good way. The sights and smells were amazing.

I held back from doing that very thing since I'm sure someone would've done it had they had enough drinks lol

I got selected last year bu tnever got on a jury. It kinda messed things up because I'm third shift so I still had to take the night before off. Luckily my employer pays you while you are on jury duty.

If you don't wanna go all Heil Hitler, you can explain to the judge that you're a lot less likely to believe someone if they don't testify and explain themself. You'll get tossed quick and probably not summoned back for awhile. I'm going on 5 or 6 years now.

My only problem with jury duty is that the courts use "It'S YoUr CiViC DuTy" shame to not pay you appropriately for being on a jury. I got a 100 dollar stipend for my 7 days to add insult to injury the stipend is taxable income in California.

It was also really funny watching people struggle to answer that question and walk the pc line. It was like being on a game show and I was dying to yell out the go home answer.

My other gripe with jury duty is they should feed jurors every day but instead they do the opposite and upcharge at the restaurants at the court. Eating at the subway at the court cost me 20 per day. there was another subway 3 blocks away that was only 11 bucks for a combo meal.
