Law Judge Hannah Dugan arrested by FBI for allegedly helping undocumented immigrant 'evade arrest'

Uh yeah she did. "Judge DUGAN then escorted Flores-Ruiz and his counsel out of the courtroom through the 'jury door,' which leads to a nonpublic area of the courthouse."
Sounds like she was preventing the cops from committing a crime by arresting him in the courthouse. I guess judges can't help cops now?

Sure, but I expect there's a different and more appropriate process for examining her actions than throwing handcuffs on her and hauling her off to jail, don't you think?

Depends on the laws governing her actions. I personally feel that she won't get aiding and abeting, but probably violated some judicial/court standards and will be removed from the bench.

So that judge was let off by Biden's DOJ and still booted from the bench.

Sounds like this judge is in trouble unless they delay trial until a democrat is elected again.
If the judge was booted from the bench, what's the issue? Are you high? How was that "let off", exactly? Didn't we just go over this distinction?

So, what was up with the comment above? Just looking for an excuse to chime in on "whatabout Biden"?

Lovely... You are aware of the charges she was presiding over that brought him to trial? Assault and Battery? Including beating a woman?

Then she protected him and let him escape out a back door. Are you fucking retarded? Why would you support the judges actions? Dude was a illegal immigrant and violent one at that. Why don't you house him in your mother's basement with you?

Several witnesses – including Dugan’s courtroom deputy and both the prosecutor and the Victim Witness Specialist on Flores-Ruiz’s case – allegedly recounted seeing Dugan then direct Flores-Ruiz and his attorney to leave through a “jury door,” which leads to a nonpublic area of the courthouse, court documents say.

Flores-Ruiz and his attorney quickly exited the courthouse before the agents were able to catch up to them, investigators say. Agents found Flores-Ruiz outside the courthouse and identified themselves. He took off running but was eventually captured.

This judge is fucked. Democrats have gotten so used to thumbing their nose at ICE and ignoring immigration laws that they believe they're above them. Nice to see these activist judges being held accountable. To bad they can't be arrested for continuously releasing repeat violent offenders.

Harboring -- Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(iii) makes it an offense for any person who -- knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation.

There was no reason not to proceed with the trial, but make the ICE agents wait until the conclusion to take him afterwards. It's fucking hilarious how Democrats take the side of the worst pieces of shit in society.

Also should be noted. This judge was a former CEO of Catholic Charities, a NGO that received millions from the Feds to assist with illegal immigrants.

lol... Wow, what a surprise.

Zero self awareness

I wrote that I felt she would just get the boot before reading about the other judge.

Why did you post this judge did nothing wrong - obviosly your post was before seeing the info on the other judge.

And FTR, you don't need much of an excuse to 'whatabout' Biden. Dude; and his family, did most everything you guys screamed that Trump would do.

Did YOU read what happened with that other judge? They apparently committed perjury lol

Lol, why you lying through omission? She said their paperwork did not allow them to make arrests on the premises and they should go talk to the judge. Its really sad to see you guys eat up these manufactured crisis over and over again.

Did you read the affidavit or just an article from your favourite news source?

They were asked to wait outside until after the case and they obliged. The hallway is a public place and they are allowed to affect an arrest there.

Apparently they are not allowed to make arrests in the courthouse with that paperwork. I don't make the rules. Sounds like they had little issues arresting him once he left the courthouse.

Again, in the public hallway they absolutely are allowed to make arrests. She just had a tantrum and released a guy being charged with domestic battery escape in front of his victim. Batshit insane.

Imagine being the victim, seeing an American judge help your abuser escape deportation.

Lmao, man to be this far gone

Did his family mot grift off "The Big Guy"'s name?

Did he not have classified documents in his residents from a time period that he had no right to them?

Did he not pardon his family from crimes - including failure to pay federal taxes.

Yeah, I could whatabout the Big Guy, but that wasn't what I was doing. That was just @Andy Capp trying to deflect from the fact that all the left was saying this judge broke no laws and now they're realizing that this judge fafo'ed.

Yes, there were two people involved (they). My sentence structure was poor and unclear in retrospect. My actual point was that these circumstances are not the same. _One_ of the people involved even going so far as to apparently lie under oath.

If I lie under oath that doesn't mean that you get charged because you know me.

That other judge was indicted on serious criminal charges.
