Remember the south park episode where Gerald gets a prius and Kyle's family move to Cali? And all the adults there love the smell of their own farts, even giving it a sniffter after they fart in wine glasses?

Past a certain threshold of notoriety and or fame, I feel you're left with 2 destined outcomes.
Its either you start loving your own farts, or you start doing sex crimes of all kinds.

Joe isn't a monster, but he is a juiced up hack who can't shoot it straight anymore. I forgive him, but to quote Tommy Lee Jones

Literally just finished episodes 200 and 201 an hour ago lol. Joe's not a monster but I think the Joe Rogan from 2007-2009 wouldn't like what he'd become.

Definitely not. Part of me wonders if that's just what awaits all men honestly. We end up resembling the type of man that our 22 year old self would initially dislike, maybe even despise upon closer look?

That's either my convenient excuse for a life long pattern of distancing myself from the lofty endeavors of other way more successful people, or I'm just a simple fuck who loves a good story lol.

Who here wouldn't become Rogan with even a quarter of his money and/or influence, ya know?

That's a good question! I feel like something's missing in my life but at the same time, I always had a 'one day at a time' mentality that I believe has served me well and while I wonder what it is that I'm still hoping to find or come my way, I still find myself content with what I've carved out for myself so far.

You want to know what really happened? What happened is you become old, and Joe became even older. Joe was born in 1967. He is fucking dinosaur and cringe to the younger generation especially in how he dresses and talks. They don't want to listen to a bald middle aged man talk about conspiracy theories. That maybe appeals to you and your reminiscing adolescent or youthful self, but not actual adolescents and youths which is what you were a generation ago when you started listening to him.

Revisionist history. Rogan as a comedian sucks. However, he's largely responsible for being the reason podcasts are part of the culture (been a fan since before the first Bert 'Machine" episode in 2011). If you were part of it in the moment. News Radio/UFC/Fear Factor/father of Podcasting/introducing other Comedians/influencers/scientists/leaders to the world via conversation. He's not perfect, but he definitely made his mark worldwide while being alive.

While I agree with him potentially being a dinosaur, it's not like there are any "great young minds" behind him.

Yep that's an absurd statement. Most billionaires in the US are democrat supporters. This is not a problem with one party but a system spanning industry and politics. Epstein as a centerpiece has worked with near every political party worldwide.
