Opinion Journalists you respect

journalists i respect. hmmmnn. well, let’s see… there’s… wait…
fuck, this is a tough one.

I might get laughed at but I think that Joe Scarborough is a decent person. It's pretty clear that he cares about people and the country. I don't agree with him on a lot of things but his wrong-ness is still rooted in a genuine desire to do good. I don't think he lies. I do think he can sometimes interpret data incorrectly but I can work around that.

so you are cool with someone knowingly lie to you as long as it aligns with your world view ?

What? No. It's the opposite. The stuff he says doesn't align with my worldview, and I don't think he's lying. I just think he's wrong sometimes.

Ariel Helwani + MMAGuru + Nina Drama

Most of the people mentioned strike me as commentators or columnists rather than journalists, but maybe in today's world it doesn't matter.

Peggy Noonan is an American Treasure. She's now a columnist with the Wall Street Journal and a frequent contributor to NBC and ABC talking head news shows.

Prior to life as a columnist, she was a speech writer for President Reagan, and wrote the speech Reagan delivered to the nation following the Challenger disaster. Prior to working for Reagan, she was a real journalist writing and editing news for papers in Boston.
