Media Josh Emmett calls for a fight against Max Holloway

Who wins if they were to fight?

I'd be well up for this actually, but Holloway would probably piece him up for 4-5 rounds then finish him.
 
No one can blame Emmett for hunting for the biggest fight possible. He is 38yo, and has lost 2 of his last 3. He needs to make as much money as he can before it's time to move on, which is sooner than later.

Holloway is in a sticky spot in the division, but he is in a different position than Emmett, both rankings wise, and drawing power wise. So it's not a fight that makes much sense for Holloway.

Holloway should be fighting Yair or a big name at LW.
 
The only thing Emmet has over Max is power really. Originally voted for him but his age and the skill gap stand in his way. Max's main problem is that he doesn't finish guys often and tends to eat shots. Max should win but if ever there was a a "good puncher's chance", this would be one of them

I know Emmett has a lot of hype around him for that KO, but he did lose his previous two prior to that(arguably three depending on how you scored the Kattar fight).

Looking at the rankings tho, Max doesn't have a lot of option so maybe this works if they both wanna fight sooner then later.

The fight was close but I had Kattar winning that fight. I have to watch it again since it's not super fresh in my mind.

its fuckin fighting. if Emmett gets to the belt and captures it, thats the way it goes. would be extraordinary at his age at Featherweight, too.

Thats the fight to make, Emmett is about the only guy Holloway has never fought at FW

I would pick Holloway to decision Emmett...

I'm probably in the minority, but I think Holloway's hand-speed and movement would be too much for Emmett, and I feel Holloway can probably eat that right hand and survive, based on some of the shots he's eaten in the past.

I think it's oretty obvious one of the fw goats is probably going to beat the top 10 gatekeeper that is Emmet.

I'd lobe to see it though. Max has relied on his adamantium chin for many years and amazing chins come to an end at some point. Emmet has the absurd power to drill through Max's defenses. Max gets hit a lot, Emmet hits absurdly hard. Max has veen on the top of the pile for many tears but cannot get past the champ, Emmet is old for the division and knows this is his last chance for greatness.

Book it. Great fight.
 
I like this fight.

Max is all pitter patter and Emmett has power. Should be bloody.
 
I like this fight better than the Justin fight thats being thrown around
 
Holloway may be slightly past his prime, but he's still far beyond any FW not named Volkanovski. Holloway takes this one easily.
 
This is about the dumbest fight you could ever make but with how dumb Featherweight matchmaking is I wouldn't be surprised if it does. Ortega vs Rodriguez and Aljo vs Kattar were stupid enough but this will be final touches on the brain dead Sundae that is 145 matchmaking
