Agreed. With all his cockiness and brashness, I still believe that Connor is a good guy who just knows how to play the game. Whereas I didnt buy Jones' holier-than-thou attitude at all, not even back in the day when he was fighting guys like Brandon Vera. I dont know what it is, but Jon Jones just oozes this narcissistic and self-absorbed vibe.

I agree. I think at minimum we need to restrict our opinions within the scope of the information available. Even if we take it one step further and make assumptions. Even if I think Conor is not using a public persona (and I agree a good portion of it anyway most likely is an act) than the information I have may justify me at least forming an opinion on whether he is arrogant or disrespectful to others when it comes to opponents in his profession. That is all I really know. I don't know how he feels about giving to the needy or how he treats the elderly or if he respects his parents or whether he would help someone in trouble.

I know enough (maybe) to decide if the is the type of guy I might want to go have a beer with and shoot some pool. I have no idea about the man's heart or moral worth. I can judge particular comments within their respective context and form some opinions about his personality but that's really it. I agree people take a small piece of information about someone and turn it into their biography. I know i would hate to have my life summed up by my worst choices or by a few isolated examples or based on a comment i may have made. The hypocritical judging is less of a problem than the blind judging. But they are both problems. I know you particular views on faith so I will add there is a reason only God can judge the heart. And thanks for the kind words earlier.

Explained this in a subsequent post. It's pretty clear that a lot of what these guys say on camera or do on camera isn't what they are really like.

Like most of his fans, Conor "Josh Mario John" McGregor is just a pampered white privileged kid and that is whence his appeal comes. Anyways, in a way, I'm glad he got a title shot so we'll be able to watch Aldo send this swaggerjacking scum into oblivion.
