Half the people on this forum didn't know Jose's father wasn't alive. Do you really think Conor knew? I'm not a fan of Conor, and honestly the way some of his fans behave in regards to him have put me off of the guy in general, but come on, people. Since when is it necessary to do a background check on someone before you talk trash? He didn't even say "fuck your mother" or something that's meant to be very disrespectful either.

Damn, I'm really close to my dad so I understand how hard was it for Aldo to lose him.

Don't know if McGregor knew about his dad, probably didn't. McGregor is a clown but I don't know if he would shit of dead parent just to sell the fight. He is not that kinda of a douche.

Are you trolling? Beche immediately apologized so chances are excellent she didn't know. I was completely satisfied that she didn't know after she explained herself at length.

Even if Conor did know, I doubt he'd apologize. He won't do anything that makes him look weak because he's a posturing peacock.

even for selling a fight, taken at face value, this is a douche method. But for all we know they're conspiring behind the scenes to sell this pay per view. I think that's likely.
 
It's not like Aldo said "my father is dead" when Connor said that. That's like calling someone fucked up for making a mom joke because the person's mother just happened to be dead. People say that kind of shit all the time.

Are you trolling? Betch brought shit up that was revealed in Ronda's book. Considering this same book deals heavily with Ronda's father, who committed suicide, it's not a stretch to imagine the Betch knew about it. She only gave one of those media apologies after she realized people thought she crossed a line. Fuck her (not literally...nasty).
 
Like some people said, it was generic shit talking.

But I didn't know any of that about Aldo. Makes me want him to win this fight more. This will be the first time since Florian I wont be cheering for Aldo's opponent.

Long ago? OK so not yesterday or something, that would be worse, I think. Saying you're someone's daddy doesn't have to do with anyone's actual father anyway. I doubt even Aldo interpreted it the way you did. Not that this excuses McGregor's antics, if it needs excusing.

Things "revealed" in her book were in the media. It's quite easy to read that Ronda was purportedly abusing alcohol and a car bum while not reading that her father killed himself. She hadn't read the book which wasn't even released in Brazil at the time, if I remember correctly, but was going by media headlines.

The fact that her father committed suicide was in the media years ago as was the fact she was living out of a car. Did you (and/or everyone else that followed WMMA) know about it all the way back then? No? It took until the book was released? But it's been years since that information was available! How could you not know yet know other details about Ronda? Impossibru!
 
I found it difficult to believe that Bethe didn't know about Ronda's pop until after she said that shitty shit. Seems to me that you know about the champion of your division especially if it's mentioned on a countdown show on regular television. But why not give her a pass?

Ronda isn't going to, I know that. That's what counts.
