Jose Aldo Father is dead - Lost respect for Conor

It's messed up, but at the end of the day, everyone on Earth is going to endure some level of disrespect, either at work, at school, in your family, in public, online, etc. Aldo has the rare opportunity to put his hands on the person who said it without going to prison. He'll at least have an opportunity for revenge.

In Conor's defense, not that what he did was right, but he did say it to someone he knows he'll have to fight.

lol conor is going to come out with that chin wide open and aldo is going to belfort wanderlei him. that is what is the best thing about all of this

What Conor said, and more importantly what he intended to say, had nothing to do with Aldo's actual father.

Adding Aldo's dad's gravestone in the background and changing Conor's cane to the Grim Reaper's scythe would really make this picture complete. That would be the nail in the coffin here.

In talking generic shit, occasionally you touch on something that's probably best left alone.

Shit happens and I don't think more/less about him either way.

This is about right. I dislike Conor's over the top antics for the most part, but I find it hard he meant any real disrespect to Aldo's late father. It's like someone telling Yo Mama jokes unknowingly to someone whose mother tragically died. It sucks but does not necessarily impugn the character of the trash talker.

All that said, reading about Jose's dad really got me all choked up: "A loving and hard-working father is a very good thing in life and once he's gone it leaves a hole that can't really be filled.

This quote is poignant:
"I wanted to have him on my side and come to him and say, " You dont need to work anymore, you can enjoy your life .I have that void of not having done it"

edit:
Conor dadjacked brazillian guy

Oh shoot, you made me laugh when I was being all serious.

Thats sad but good on him now, and shit McGregor is just playing the game, get over it.

After the fight Connor will pull a Bisping and say he was just hyping the fight and all the bullshit he said doesn't count.

I am OK with fighters being assholes as long as they stick with it.

inb4 "this is the same as Bethe saying shit about suicide!!!11111". Not the same, I doubt Conor even knew, unlike Bethe, who read Ronda's book *then* talked shit.

Are you sure Connor knew about Aldo's dad?

If he did, that is pretty fucked up to take trash talking to that level. But if he didn't know, it's just an unfortunate coincidence.

Either way, respect to Aldo. He'll put the hurt on Conor soon enough.

All the talk in the world won't matter after Conor feels that first hard leg kick

he's going to feel something he's never felt before and he's not going to like it

I learned the feeling of that kind of loss just three months ago. Its a pain I could have never fathomed before hand. For a split second after reading this, I actually wanted Jose to knock Conor senseless.

Then I got over it, realized Conor meant nothing in regards to Joses actual father, and Conor is going to win either way.

I'm fine with the antics, but making anything personal is actions of a worthless coward. Have some respect, because our world is already full of worthless human beings.

Why would you post a picture of Jose Aldo crying as if you are making it out to be that was the result of Conor McGreggor telling him to call him Daddy?

And then he'll punch Aldo in the face really fucking hard.

You really think Connor knew this when he said that? I seriously doubt Connor had intentions at all about relating this to Aldo's dead father.

It's just a common saying to trash talk

conor knew and he don't give a flying fk and that's not right hope aldo wins now.

It really is crazy that Aldo isn't even 30 yet. A person to look up to.
