Deftinley one of the best actors of our time.
Phantom thread js the one about the guy who works for a newspaper and keeps trying to write about Jon Jones coke-induced aggressive posts, but since Jones deletes them, the guy almost loses his job? This doesn't look right.

When people say stuff like this it tells me that they missed the whole point of the movie.Just saw this a few weeks back, it's entertaining, but it's basically "The stepford wives."
If this same movie had been made, but they were just taking over other white peoples bodies I'm sure it would have gotten a lower score or at least not nearly as much praise as it got.
Jordan peel did a great job utilizing the current black victim narrative to cash in. Can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing.

Not exactly, but you have to understand that race, specifically the black American experience, is absolutely integral to the movie.Yeah totally
Gotta have a high IQ to understand this one

L O FUCKING L, the black American experience is absolutely not integral for this movie. Not exactly, but you have to understand that race, specifically the black American experience, is absolutely integral to the movie.

You sound smart!L O FUCKING L, the black American experience is absolutely not integral for this movie.
This movie is "The stepford wives" meets meets the black American experience. Creepy community fronts normality long enough to lure an unsuspecting, unwilling donor to their doom. I haven't personally watched any of them, but others in this thread have already mentioned other movies that the stepford wives borrowed that premise from as well.
This movie isn't some pinnacle of cinema and black entertainment.
I'm not trying to be fair and balanced, I call things as I see them. This director took an old thriller movie theme, put a modern edgy racial spin on it, and cashed out. What more is there to say about this film? You did a great job utilizing the whole white victim narrative going on right now in this post. It was perfect the way you wove it into a compliment about the director, as if to say “hey, I said something positive about him, so you know I am ‘fair and balanced.’”
Never thought of it like that but you're right lolGet out was a horror movie that wasn't a piece of shit.
That in of itself is impressive.
You sound dumb.You sound smart!
You missed the whole point, but are talking like you got it! How embarrassing!I'm not trying to be fair and balanced, I call things as I see them. This director took an old thriller movie theme, put a modern edgy racial spin on it, and cashed out. What more is there to say about this film?
Just because a lot of ignorant people think that it was original idea for a movie doesn't make it so.
Well why don't you educate me instead of acting like a smart ass?You missed the whole point, but are talking like you got it! How embarrassing!
Sorry about that. It just irritates me when people say Get Out it is just a knock off of some other movie. There is a lot more to it.Well why don't you educate me instead of acting like a smart ass?
