The sun and the moon both "change sizes" from our point of view based on the position in the sky, distance from us (orbits don't happen in a perfect circle), location on earth, etc.

Ok. And if they aren’t the same relative size then there’d be nothing to talk about. That’s it. Same with creation/evolution. “Oh, isn’t it weird that it works this way perfectly that it works the way it does?”. No. It’s not weird. Like, I don’t understand this concept. The reason we don’t talk about the moon being green is because it isn’t. The reason we talk about the moon appearing the same size of the sun is because it is. We can see because the eye works. The reason we don’t live by breathing neon is because we don’t. It’s literally that simple lol.

Or another way, it’s like saying “isn’t it weird that toasters run on electricity and we just so happen to have electricity in our houses???” No. We invented toasters to run on electricity BECAUSE we have electricity in our houses.

Actually quite an interesting question though, the moon and the sun looking almost exactly the same size to us with the latter being 400 times larger but also 400 times further away does seem like a stunning coincidence.

Not only that but isn't it theorized that we only see one side of the moon at all times? I know it sounds conspiracy theory but thats what I've heard theorized.
