The truth is that Walker had a brainwave when the punch landed, he suddenly understood how to unify classical physics and quantum mechanics knowing the full glory of the universe hence his stunned reaction, unfortunately the final punch on the ground knocked the answer back out of his head and were doomed to live in ignorance.

There are soooo many things that work in interrelated ways in nature that would, mathematically, be a stunning coincidence if it were all the result of random mutation and natural selection.

I recall one mathematician who was NOT religious, once saying "there is a reason that random mutation and natural selection is such an insufficient answer to mathematicians more than it is for any other group of scientists. We truly understand the odds being discussed, and they're astronomical" (paraphrase).

That said, the earth is flat. And I know this because the people who live on the other side told me about their underground base in Antarctica where Bob Marley, Elvis, and Tupac are alive and have reptilian orgies on a nightly basis. Whether they like it or not. Bob, in particular, HATES it.

I think the sun/moon size though you could argue perhaps isnt such a clear selection bias, life obviously needed to evolve on earth for us to exist to observe it even if its trillions to one.

As I said there is some of the same argument with the sun/moon sizes, that we need to be a certain distance from the sun to exist and we need a large moon to stop the earth's axis of rotation shifting too much causing large climate shifts, perhaps we also need the tidal action it creates to lead to life as we know it. Do we need the sun/moon to be so exactly similar in size though? my understanding is perhaps not as the earths climate is somewhat self regulating plus of course the moon being the size it is in the sky today is not the way its always been, its gradually moving further from the earth so the current situation were there close to the same size is actually only a few tens of millions of years old.

Theres a lot of bro science conspiracy theory nonsense around things which are well understood but as I understand it we don't really know whether the sun/moon being SO similar is "needed" or is just a coincidence, I'v seen ideas mentioned again such as solar eclipses are needed to help trigger human advancement, to get us interested in astromancy which gave rise to other science.
