I agree with you but if we look at overall body of work then JJ has done more at LHW.

I consider also the fact that DC has a lot fewer fights compared to JJ at LHW, due to him fighting at HW for more than half of his career.

Phil Davis got sacked, Glover is a gatekeeper, Bader got humiliated by Jones, Gus got beat by Jones and DC and his best win is Shogun.

Jones, however, beat DC.
 
Jones has 6 current or former champs on his resume and 'tree times' as many title defenses, which used to be rightly understood as more difficult because of the bullseye on your back. And no, I'm not disregarding his wins over DC.

That's a person's choice to make. Do they want to potentially sacrifice their health for career greatness?

Do you tell people who work hard and study all day that they might have social anxiety later in life?
 
Jones got fat early on fighters with big names on the downside of their careers. Shogun was shit since losing to Jon so tough to figure out how to evaluate that one. He didn’t fight Rashad in his prime, nor Rampage. Machida is really a middleweight as was Chael. He beat Gus, Glover, OSP and DC, but with the PED thing, you can make a valid argument a couple of those are tainted.

Watching Jon, he is probably the most physically gifted fighter I have ever seen. But in hindsight his career shine doesn’t reflect that at all.

Jones was juicing, DC was not (aside from retarded baseless speculation of errbody juicing) not fair. They have drug testing for a reason
 
Without their fights I would go with DC obviously.

But DC is probably the biggest single win any fighter has right now. Only Jones himself might be a bigger win imo. But nobody has beaten him yet.

And right now I don't think it's likely to happen in his prime unless he moves up to HW.

Of course his career is tainted. There is no way around that.

DC was drained from the weight cut and Jones was on roids. Not really an elite win, imo.
It's real easy to discredit. Fail.
 
I thought DC's win over Josh Barnett was huge at the time. It's what really sold me on him being legit at HW.

Rampage was 4-1 going into the Jones fight. His only loss was too another top contender in Evans and he "beat" Machida another top contender along the way.

Evans was 4-0 going his title fight which included beating Rampage and dominating Phil Davis.

Machida was 17-2 going into the Jones fight and only lost to Rampage and Shogun.

Glover was on a 20 fight win streak.

TRT Vitor was scalping people.

Yeah I watched the Gus fight a week ago. Jones outstruck the best striker in the division and beat him at his own game like he always does.

Shogun was coming off an injury and a lay off.
Rampage lost 2 straight after that. Was past his prime. Also lost the machida fight.
Evans is a middleweight. Career went to shit after that.
Machida lost to shogun TWICE. Middleweight.
