Jones is right NOT to entertain Aspinal. Aspinal is overrated. Mid striking. He could be a flash in the pan.

You still don't get that Jones vs Tom isn't happening. Jon isn't signing the fight.

8 or 9 months from now when Jones vacates/retires he'll fabricate some bizarre narrative just like with Francis that his nuthuggers like you will gobble up about how Tom avoided the fight and not him. It's pretty easy to convince you dumbshits of anything, you and your ilk's stupidity is well documented at this point.

We can pull this post up anytime between now and end of April once Jones vs Aspinal is a go for July or August. The fight will very likely happen.

The UFC wasnt going to rebook Jones to fight an up and comer after the Stipe was announced and delayed. Just made absolutely no promotional or business sense.

And your feelings about tom imbue your perception, the fact is, he lost his recent fight to Blaydes, when Jones beat Gane and wasnt anywhere neat title contention or even public awareness

See, the thing is I had no problem with Jones/Stipe even after it was essentially pushed back an entire year. Jones had earned his legacy fight vs an older, washed guy who hadn't fought in forever. That was all good by me. So you aren't making any sense when you talk about "my feelings about Tom". Again, up until NOW I've had no issue with the fights that were made. But it's time NOW for Jones to shit or get off the pot. He has no more outs, no more excuses to fight someone else. Retire, or fight Aspinall. 2 choices.

My issue was referring to how you try to frame Aspinall's loss to Blaydes. You constantly reference it as though it was a legit loss. Maybe we should talk about how Matt Hammil "dispatched" of Jones back in the day too LOL?

In your personal emotional feelings, Jones wont fight Tom?
Just to level with you a bit - I really think Tom sealed his fate of never fighting Jon when he aligned himself with that MMA Guru fellow who made the whole Jones is gay thing go viral.

And not only that - Jon is going to honeydick him right 'til the bitter end out of spite, Tom is firmly on the shelf in his prime and Jon's gonna make sure he loses as much of his prime as possible before the UFC finally forces his hand and makes him vacate.

Jones has not been interested in the fight since day 1. I called the very same thing with Francis Ngannou.

Jones walked out the octagon unscathed against Hamil

Tom was carried out in a stretcher.

False equivalency

Against an elderly dude that had no reason to fight for the title
Stipe was ranked #2 after #1 Gane

Jones defended a little over 100 days

You may not personally like it, I get that, but-

The facts, are the facts

Aspinal has mid striking he has power but his technique and head movement is a joke. He could literally get beat by many fighters. Prime DC would wreck him.

Why would the MMA GOAT Jones fight this upstart. I have zero hype when he fights.

Jones should go after the big fights or just retire
He knocked out his last three opponents and somehow he is mid? Who exactly are the ten people better than him?

You don't know what mid means.

I haven’t seen Tom in an actual fight yet
I’ll let you know when he finally goes into deep water

Sounds great. Find someone that can not get KO'd inside a round.

Oh that's a new one. The UFC is protecting Tom's legacy from Jon Jones. Good job on Sherdog.
How does it benefit the UFC if the next big marketable HW champ gets dogwalked and finished by the GOAT who then retires? Lose a title unification fight then what fight for the vacant belt after being finished? Leave your feminine energy at the door and think like a smart person kid.

Nah that's complete BS delusion Jones is a narcissist that doesn't want a blemish on his record pretty simple, that's also why he had a career of fighting smaller older guys.

That's ridiculous reasoning the UFC basically did that when they were a legit organization and not an entertainment company like WWE, UFC 22 Shamrock vs Ortiz back then Tito was the up and coming hottest thing in mma at that time and people pundits alike were pretty certain he was gonna beat Frank except he didn't and after that Frank retired, so its beyond stupid to not challenge Aspinall by setting up a fight against Jones because oh it doesn't make business sense who gives AF do you have part ownership within UFC parent company are you part owner.

I swear the people on here that blabber about business sense for an entertainment company like UFC out of Vegas always make me roll eyes, having watched UFC mma for almost 30 years now I never gave a rats ass about the UFC's bottom line that's like some weird new modern noob fandom BS so stupid.
