You become the best by beating great opponents. Like with Fedor, it was never his long unbeaten streak that made him great. It was that he beat many great fighters.

Just beating an undefeated olympian in MMA is crazy enough to say. DC is legitimate. The guy also trains with the HW champion on the daily and if Bones wins ppl will be begging to see him move up to HW.

Bones has arguably already surpass Anderson, Fedor and GSP if he beats DC again im not trying to say he'll be GOAT because there will never be one in MMA, but it will definitely solidify his position ppl will have their opinions though.

Jones is a top 5 p4p fighter of all time. Where he stands with Fedor, Silva and GSP is debatable but I think Jones has had the single most impressive run of any fighter, so even though I hate his personality I will not deny he is close to being the GOAT.

No he will be the Goat in LHW . His resume people think is good but it's not that impressive if you really look at it. Gsp is way better . As is A.silva . Fedor is still the G.O.A.T because he ruled HW for nearly 10 years and a 28 fight unbeaten streak. If JJ gets past DC and Gus again then goes to hw and rules there for a couple of years then he can be classed as the G.O.A.T
 
cant argue with that he will have a better resume then andy and fedor....but i still beileve in there primes fedor and andy would beat jones

What? Evans has been a top ten fighter for most of a decade now. He had a great undefeated streak, won the UFC championship and has four or more top ten wins.
 
He's behind Fedor, Silva, and GSP and is still in his prime. He's only 27 and is unbeaten except for one DQ. Yes he's a GOAT contender, already, and chances are he will be the GOAT unless some Tiger Woods mess happens to him.

ok. then fedor's list of great wins should include the likes of coleman, babalu, arona, all of whom have fought or won UFC championships and went unbeaten for long streaks.
