Yeah, Jon is past his prime and that should be expected. He’s almost 34 now and has been at the top of the sport for over a decade. That’s a lot of intense training camps that are going to wear on anyone’s body. Also, he is a cokehead/alcoholic so it’s not like we’d expect him to age well like some other guys do who eat and stay clean while they roid up.
I think Jon has one foot out the door already. He is taking off like 16 months to fight at HW. No one takes that sort of time off in their mid 30s if they are serious about staying around. He’s looking for the best money fight he can get before he rides off the the sunset.
