No, I didn’t know what you meant, which is why I asked. And yes, Jones has used wrestling in excellent ways in the cage. If what you want is some sort of imagination and conjecture as to who would or wouldn’t outwrestle him in an imaginary fantasy fight, I don’t really see the point in that. Fedor has fought several guys with better wrestling credentials than Jones, and those guys—particularly Coleman and Randleman—used their wrestling very well in MMA. Fedor beat those guys, all 3 of the ones I named on the ground, in fact. That’s really all you can say.
Dude, if you can watch 2004 Coleman plant both palms on the mat behind Fedors head, thus giving him an armbar, while in his guard and compare that to Bones or DC, bless your little heart:
Late 90s Hammer House being compared to modern Jackson-Wink or AKA fighters.
Bones has the same wrestling creds Brock and DC had at fhe age he stopped wrestling and better creds than Colby or Cain.
He was busy pisspounding Shogun for the belt in what woulda been his redshirt senior year at iowa state---where cael sanderson and dan gable wrestled.
Its like knockinv Kobe for not having played college ball
