I bet jones would have liked to finish this fight but gus is an excellent fighter. Gus also has a reach and a size advantage against most of the guys in lhw. gus (81,2) vs jones (84,5), two of the biggest guys.

i dont think theyll make Glover wait. might be a smarter move as well for a rematch after Jones fights Glover and Gus wins one fight. could generate more hype than making an immediate rematch imo

Glover vs. Jones is already set to happen. It's official. So yeah, there won't be an immediate rematch for Jones.
