Well, hello! You got your ass spanked and ran away from our last discussion about PPVs and now you’re back for more.

Didn’t you come right out and agree with me that PPV prices here in the US are astronomical? I’m not sure how I could get spanked in a debate where you literally conceded most of the point that I was making—but whatever helps you sleep better at night, I guess. You were posting examples of past “bad” cards—several of which were actually pretty good cards, but you don’t realize that because you don’t really know much about past eras in the sport. At some point it’s not worth my time to round and round in circles with you about stuff you just don’t know very much about.
Khabib is undefeated, Fedor got finished in every possible way in Strikeforce.
By the time Fedor got to Strikeforce, he was older than Khabib and had a better record. Fedor didn’t suffer a legit defeat until his 34th fight, just before he turned 34. Khabib retired at age 32, 29-0. I know how much you love to compare parts of one fighter’s career to another fighter who never even reached that point in their careers (e.g., your scintillating comparison of Gane’s resume to Cro Cop’s lol). It’s just as ridiculous and nonsensical to do today as it was every other time you did it.
Both have only 3 title defences, Khabib’s competition in UFC was better than that of Fedor’s in PRIDE.
Khabib: Pankration Atrium Cup Tournament winner 2008; Tsumada Championship 3 Tournament winner 2009; UFC LW ChampIon (3 defenses).
Fedor: RINGS OW Tournament winner 2001; RINGS Absolute Class Tournament winner 2001; PRIDE HWGP Champion 2004; PRIDE HW Champion (3 defenses); WAMMA HW Champion (2 defenses).
It’s not particularly close. Fedor has more and better championships on his resume than Khabib does.
Poirier
Gaethje
Conor
RDA
Barboza
MJ
Iaquinta
are better and more skilled fighters than any 7 wins on Fedor’s resume.
What a weird, arbitrary, and subjective argument to try and make. I guess this is what you pivot to rather than comparing more objective measures like I mentioned? Could it be because those are about the only good wins Khabib has, and we even had to include Al Iaquinta? Shit, if we add the so-so names of Tibau, Tavares, Healy, and Trujillo to it, we have Khabib’s entire fuckin resume lmao.
Khabib has, by far, the weakest resume of any of the 8 divisional GOATs. This shouldn’t even be a question.
Khabib was also way more dominant in the cage than Fedor. Khabib never got suplexed, rocked, mounted or beat up by strikes like Fedor did.
Khabib didn’t fight at HW, and in fact, really didn’t even fight anyone even remotely worth a shit until, like, his 18th fight. You want to penalize Fedor for getting mounted by someone like Arona (the only dude to win ADCC gold without losing a single point in any of his matches) under a ruleset that favored grapplers on the ground—meanwhile Khabib didn’t fight anyone at Arona’s level until…shit, probably his 22nd fight when he fought RDA?
Your other points are so silly and arbitrary. Was Khabib fighting 10 minute first rounds? Was he fighting in orgs where stomps, soccer kicks, and knees on the ground were legal?
Regarding being rocked, mounted, taking damage, etc— I haven’t heard you complain about GSP, Silva, and Aldo being on Jones’ list. Haven’t those things also happened to them? Just silly, stupid stuff to bring up.
Khabib also fought under USADA, while Fedor wasn’t really tested.
Again, are you complaining that Jones and Silva are on this list? I guess in your world it’s better to pop twice under USADA like Silva, or 16 billion times like Jones, than it is to pass commission testing like Fedor? Lol wtf? GSP also only had one fight under USADA. I think USADA is a good thing overall, as it allows for more frequent testing, but it’s far from the end-all, be-all that some people act like it is. We’ve seen them make excuses, bend or break rules, or give fighters special treatment when it suits them (or suits the UFC).
Fedor, GSP, Jones, and Silva are locks for this list. Either Aldo or MM is acceptable for #5, and I really don’t see how any other answer makes sense.
