Khabib was in his early 20's in that fight. it was only his 2nd fight in the UFC and still got the W against a prime juiced Tibau. How many rounds has Khabib lost since that fight? And how many rounds has Jones lost in just his last few fights?

Jon Jones is one of the GOATs and he's above Khabib imo. If Jones comes back and becomes HW champ, he could very well be the undeniable GOAT.

Of course it is an argument.
The only way to say it is not is to say to others 'you must value the same subjective points I do and ONLY those ones'.

GOAT is a very subjective topic and if people want to also weight being caught using steroids that is a factor they are allowed to use. Just like a homerun champ being caught with a corked bat is something others can use against their numbers.

Fine if you do not care about steroid busts but I do and in my ranking getting caught gets you excluded from the GOAT list. I will say Jones has one of the best fight resumes but that alone does not make one, amongst the GOATs of the sport.

No. What is garbage is 'others' telling people what they must or must not value in such a subjective area like GOAT where each person already values other elements very differently.

I am positive in the history of baseball there were a lot of players who used corked bats who never got caught. But that does not mean that if a guy who is vying for Home Run champ gets caught with a corked bat he should still be able to win the Award that year because 'other people do it too... they just did not get caught'.
