Media Jon Jones REVEALS how he would Defeat Thomas Aspinall and Announces he gives up the belt

Luffy is claiming (I promise I'm not making this up, read a few of his posts lately) that Jones and Aspinall already fought in "secret" in Chicago in May and Jones won. The UFC is keeping it all secret until they release the footage for the new broadcast deal.
Hahah yeah I saw that… the voices in my head told me Tom won that one though

Well, believe what you want. See the detailed post I've made there... It confirms without many questions that the fight has already happened. If you watch the interview with Tom in which the title is "they lie to you in the UFC" he talks with two athletes therapists that assess a fighters' mindset... And he gets asked whether he prefers to fight in crowded and in real life broadcast events or in closed spaces. Tom said he fears so much having people seeing him getting beat up in front of millions, that fighting in private spaces, like when he spars, is easy, because if he gets outclassed, only a few people will know it by that time, and there won't be instantly memes.

Plus, ppl here have told you more than once about UFC broadcast dynamics deal. With the ESPN exclusive negotiation period ending on April 2025, opening bids from Netflix, Amazon, Warner Bros. and others, the UFC’s live-event library is its crown jewel. Holding back a major title fight would be a huge value-leak, not a benefit.

For instance, when Bellator fights weren’t televised, they aired them later on their own network due to fan demand.

Tldr; UFC’s partners (ESPN or any new deal) require timely broadcast of all marquee fights. No platform would pay top dollar for “never-to-be-seen” footage.

Given the psychological check up interview available on YouTube on Tom up above talking with two therapists, in a video that is captioned "they lie to you in the UFC " , in which he says that fighters who pretend not to be scared aren't humans, that the last fight vs Curtis was so bad that he was trembling.... Since he said it was in London and losing in front of 25,000 ppl or so would be devastating to him (again, you will only know the truth if you watch long interviews, like this one, 45 minutes one... Not shorts )... So a private event ties on the fighters psychology + If he loses, he doesn’t face instant humiliation.

It gives his brand time to pivot, avoid meme culture backlash, and return fresh when the fight airs months later.

With merchandise, you have reward economy. Like, imagine the ""UFC on Netflix presents: The Hidden Fight – Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall.

That’s a level of hype you can’t get from a live fight that happened months ago. It's the "Beyoncé drop" of UFC content — and the UFC has never done it before.

And the internal cues that many ppl have posted on Reddit too. You have an unusual silence from the UFC during a media window that aligns with this year exactly...

... May 2025 saw a notable promotional blackout — no major PPVs, no official updates on Jon or Tom. More than likely, the UFC has been holding major content during this period due to the ESPN+ deal expiring, awaiting a move to Netflix/Prime/Disney+.

Not to mention, you can search on ,any channels about MMA and UFC subreddit how more and more rumors of private events being filmed for future debut on these platforms are growing. This creates a perfect incentive and mechanism to hold a massive fight behind closed doors.

Plus, it's visible the sudden change in Tom's behaviour... Before May 2025: confident, humorous, calling out Jon directly.

After May 2025: deflective, irritated when asked about Jon, visibly uncomfortable with the topic. In the interview with Chael and DC, Tom says: "Why are we still talking about Jon? He’s retired. Bless him. Let’s move on.”

That is NOT someone who wants the fight — it is someone who’s already been through it, and is trying to emotionally bury it. His tone was unusually defensive, and DC/Chael’s knowing laughter suggests they picked up on something unspoken.

JJ's tweets too. Firstly, he had said "don't ever say the new guy was never that good now, I've done it all", which was deleted within 15 minutes on his IG stories. Tom IG story post May saying "sometimes you think you are the one but you are not. But anyways, respect to the best!" which was also deleted in less than 10 minutes and screen shotted and posted on Reddit specific subsection.

Then, the UFC announced Tom vs Gane. JJ said he'd defeat Tom ny not even giving him the chance... Veni, Vidi, Vici 😘

If he hadn't fought Tom, this line would be weirdly insecure or passive-aggressive.

But if he already beat him, this tweet becomes pure psychological warfare — pretending the fight didn’t matter, mocking fans who missed it, and framing himself as the master of timing and legacy. And his tweets about "Tom was never good, he was submitted by some guy who will be revealed and tapped quicker than the first time he was submitted"... Plus JJ saying he'd fight Francis, saying "don't say it'd be easy like Tom!! Francis has trained grappling, not a brown belt British like Tom who couldn't even defend himself when I got my hands on him" ...

This is exactly how Jones behaves when he knows the truth that the fans don’t and the fact that he has already won, and lets you stew...

He's just pressing because Tom is trying to promote a petition to strip him and suddenly saying he won't fight JJ and will fight Gane. This is risky because the UFC says about doing JJ vs Tom in November, i.e, the recorded Chicago fight. But if Tom loses or Gane or if it goes to the distance and is a hard fight, JJ's loss loses value and he needs to handle clueless idiots like you calling him a duck when he already bet the guy. That's also why Tom is not even replying to JJ saying he is trash in the ground and got submitted. Tom is radio silent because he knows the truth. He's anxious because he'd like to fight Gane before the result vs JJ is disclosed because at least the fight vs Gane would get him more $ instead of fighting Gane when it'd be readily available he lost in a dominant fashion to JJ, to which his marketability would lose value. But since ppl don't like JJ, some clueless ppl who lack reading ability and don't do enough research like you, end up being easily manipulated .....
