Media Jon Jones REVEALS how he would Defeat Thomas Aspinall and Announces he gives up the belt

That's exactly what JJ said when the British journalist, that bald guy, asked how he wants to be remembered "I came, I saw, I conquered"...

Literally, he keeps the duck narrative up. He didn't fight Tom. In a way tho, he's reminding that the UFC can't rewrite history : "You can't call me a duck or rewrite my legacy because I walked away before doing what many said I wouldn't " ... A calm checkmate of "I've already won" ...

Maybe..... 😉

"I've walked away after doing what you all said I wouldn't. I got that $ and the new prospect didn't even have a chance".

He would never be so calm and all by letting this duck narrative dominate. Nor would he be so calm and dismissive by losing. If he dominated, then he check mated the UFC. Retiring with that $ and winning the fight.

Ppl thought JJ was mad at when Ankalaev beat Pereira, first post was JJ watching a cartoon and laughing, and then he posted something like "only 1 more 🎯"

Jon doesn't feel he is getting Wilder money, so he will be "stripped". It will be framed as "i don't care about the belt, I'm retiring the GOAT, i trolled ... (Whoever in his imagination)".

<WellThere><bullseye>

I full blown don't get it. What did the UFC do wrong? They have this amazing career resurgence championship win by a legend, they try to make the match with the clear number one contender. Seems fine to me.

I can't think of a valid reason for Jones not to fight this guy. He's not a big enough name or whatever, idk that kinda goes out the window when you're both the champ and the biggest name. And I can't think of any other available HW that would pull more viewers than Aspinall.
