Media Jon Jones on Ngannou, Pavlovich, and Adesanya

They were literally in negotiations to make the fight. Francis chose to leave the UFC entirely instead. The Gane fight was then made.
Nope. Jones was in negotiations to fight Stipe and then the Gane fight was made when that fell through. Jones would NEVER fight Ngannou. Jones never wanted to fight Ngannou, Jones never asked to fight Ngannou and Jones picked up a different fight the minute Ngannou left. Jones could have had the Ngannou fight at any point in the last 3 years. He just didn't want it.

At this point he is more likely to fight Izzy than Pavlovich. It probably will not happen but in terms of super fight money it is the biggest fight for Jones. Both men dislike each other.
he would get destroyed in pav fight will get beating by stipe as well but guy has no ko power so true HW could jut run punching bag sparring session and just watch for take down pav has that covered stipe probably too

Like I said from the second he called out Stipe, he's retiring when that one is over. He came back to cash big checks in good matchups and create disruption in GOAT conversations, leaving people talking now that the steroid issues are supposedly behind him.

Jones is one of the greatest fighters of all time, but he's a drug using cheater. It's a much more complicated legacy than most users here would like to admit. There's too many trolls and fanboys floating around.

Dammit...you stooges are everywhere. Who the fuck said "they were in negotiations" because someone forgot to tell Ngannou.
Francis’s coach came out and said one of the main reasons Francis didn’t reup their contract because UFC would drop the big paycheck if Francis lost to Jones. The purse for the next fights drops considerably after a loss.

Anyways UFC fighters don’t negotiate with each other. They negotiate with the promotion. Posters need to stop with that so and so is ducking whoever just because they don’t like a fighter for personal reasons.

Sure. That scenario is possible.

Jones said Pavlovich is similar to Glover? Right… Glover’s a KO artist wiping out opponents in the 1st round left of right.

Uhhhh...maybe you're a new fan, so FYI:

At the time Jones fought Glover, Glover had KO'd or clubbed and subbed everybody thought he fought in the UFC in the first round, except for Rampage, whom he beat the piss out off over three rounds.

Glover was also on an 8-year, 20 fight win streak and perceived as massive threat to Jones.

lol Pavlovich is statistically the most dangerous HW of all time. The wind from one of his punches could knockout most LHW's.

Biggest duck of the century.
Pav just nuked the guy that was perceived as the best wrestler in the division while rampage was wrestle fuckable by yur grandma by the time jon fought him. Jon knows dana already said Frank is never coming back to the ufc and Jon never would have come back to the UFC himself if Frank never left.

MMA math says Pav is the most dangerous fight for jon and probably more than Frank considering Frank’s age, inactivity, knee issues, and losing to Derrick and derrick is derrick. A lot of people think Gane beat Frank so the theoretical mma math is pav>gane>francis…Pav auto passes Gane in rank by plooking people that almost KOed gane…so this is the biggest duck in the history of humanity if jon doesnt fight pav
Dude you sound so emotional you can’t use logic and your tears are delicious. There is no such thing as ducking Pav to want a fight with Francis. Francis is more accomplished and brings more money to Jones and the sport. Stipe is more accomplished and brings more money as well. You Pav boys didn’t say shit til he beat up Curtis zBlaydes in s fight no casual fan gave a shit about. You’re not Martin Luther King buddy and I don’t give a damn you had a dream of Jones fighting Pav. Just put some ice on your tender parts son

Really, dummy? Did they forget to tell his coach, too?

“It wasn’t 8 million PER fight. Had he lost to Jon, his pay would’ve significantly dropped. That was one of the hang ups in resigning, he had no protection if he lost to arguably the MMA GOAT. I think there’s a lot of misinformation being tossed around….”

Bullshit. See above.

Shame for fans.
Jones HW belt means very little given the open business talk, as opposed to actually being the best HW. But having 1 or 2 HW wins enhances his total career. The same as Silva LHW wins and GSP MW win.
As long as people can accept that the belt does not define the best, then they will see sense.

Whilst I am gutted that his HW career was no career at all, he is clearly (to me) the most total skilled LHW of all time. But it stops there.

True 2 divisions champions are still an elusive, illusion.

Cejudo, Nunes and DC defended both belts.

Bullshit. See above.
Not BS. Jones wants none of Frank. Ducked him, avoided him, didn't breathe a word about Ngannou when he was in the UFC. The minute he's gone, Jones comes back. And now he "wants" Francis after Dana said Francis would never be hired again. Dude, get a grip, Francis would turn Jones' head into the tenth planet and Jon knows it.

Jon beats old man Stipe and murders Adesanya. Only the Pavlovich fight in interesting imo.

And yet they were negotiating the fight, as per his coach. Just take the L and admit you're full of shit.
