Bro, after you've been around this "sport" for a while, you'll see that actions speak much louder than words. Francis challenged Jones to a fight 3 years ago. It was a standing offer and Dana said they would do it any time as long as Jones wasn't asking for 30mil. It never happened. That's because Jones didn't want it. But now that he's gone...he's all Foghorn Leghorn about it. If he fights Pav, I'll tend to believe he may have taken the Ngannou fight but we both know that will never happen.
 
the only thing stopping Jones from being a great is that he didn't fight HW earlier, he done eyepokes more than once, he has gotten caught and suspended for juicing.

Besides all this above JJ is up there with the GOATS

No casual fan knows who the fuck Frank is anymore than pav. They know Conor and ronda n that’s it. Frank’s stock is a myth. He doesn’t bring in anymore than any other middle of the road Shmoe. The guy ain’t worth anything in the same universe that he thinks he is but he is finding out the hard truth as he gets turned down left and right by other orgs.

You're missing the entire point. Name a bigger fight than Jones vs Adesanya that doesn't have McGregor in it. I'll wait.

Obviously Jones would smash Izzy but they're both HUGE draws and a seminal event like UFC 300 needs a big fight.

If you think casual fans drop 80 dollars on a UFC pay per view, that’s also a delusion. How would a casual fan help Francis if they’ve only ever watched mma on the high seas? If there is a chance you can entice somebody into actually spending money on mma then they aren’t really a casual… even if the door charge at a douche bag bar is the furthest extent of their mma spending budget. They aren’t casual even the slightest if they are willing to put themselves into an overcrowded hot body heat insufferable sports bar situation just to watch a ufc.

You aren’t that casual if you can just name off former champions across the divisions from over a year ago off the top off your head.. especially flash n the pan champs with 1 or none defenses. Is it that complicated? If one digs they’ll realize that literally every dominant champ except Mighty Mouse, Volk, and Aldo has shown serious red flags for PED use. Jones is the greatest even with those asterisks.

The posters here make it such. They want to disregard Jones' cheating when he's been caught more than any prominent fighter on his level. You can assume others were on PEDs if you'd like to, but they didn't test positive. Jones did. Multiple times, and in his prime.
 
Pav is much larger, stronger, more reach and hits harder than Glover or Rampage... but ya they're all the same LOL
