Media Jon Jones declined UFC 300 main event

Jones may well be the most divisive fighter in all of UFC.

Sure he got a great record, sure he may be the GOAT but it's forever shadowed with performance enhancing substances.

Cormier and Glover are his biggest wins. Many other big names on his recored but nearly all of them fighters were out their prime.
Cormier glover and gustaffson. Even glover only became champ becuase everyone that beat him moved on (jones, Davis, Johnson, gustaffson, corey). The context behind his oh so amazing wins like shogun machida rampage vitor etcetera just damns those victories

Next call is Conor, Then Ronda, Then Brock................ They are getting desperate.

They should try to go out all out this point at least put shevchenko vs grasso 3, Pena vs Pennington, and leon vs belal on it.
Leave the headline as Gaethje vs Holloway, all title fight main card. Leon/Belal Co-main. Then females Weight classes by highest weight to smallest
How bout he support us, who have supported him?

For $200k he can get our guy @Ares Black willing to mollywhop MMA Guru. (Ares willing to do for free but lets give them $100k each or winner takes all if they willing)

I ain’t kidding I’d get pumped for it

He's coming off an injury and probably hasn't been training. Giving him shit for turning down the main event while he is means you're probably compromised mentally.
Coming to that conclusion means your probably compromised mentally

This confirms what we all assumed, that Dana doesn't know what the fuck he is doing and is trying to assemble a good main event last minute. DDP probably said no as well.

Guy needs to be oiled up, IMO

Quite the coincidence that the UFC got rid of USADA for the beginning of 2024 and he suddenly got “injured” for his title fight at the end of 2023. Currently he’s out in Australia like nothing happened.
shocking statement coming from his 2nd biggest fan... Him being #1

Which one of your favourite fighters got knocked the fuck out unlike Jones?

It’s also funny that Jon mentions nothing about being injured or needing time to recover. He just said 9 weeks isn’t enough time for him to be fully prepared. Funny how Jon fanboys are making up excuses for him. Jon would have 9 weeks to get ready which is at least 50 full days. He could have fought but chose not to.

He's busy playing rugby with all of his "injuries." lol

He wont take it, or cant take it cause he had surgery...then why would they even call him? And why reveal they called him, when he cant/wont fight?? Gauge interest so he takes it later for more money than whatever it was offered at first?

Jon Jones was offered the UFC 300 main event but turned it down. Jon Jones career is a career filled with missed opportunities. First MMA fighter with endorsements with Nike and Gatorade which he lost due to his behavior outside the cage. Missed UFC 200 main event due to PED use. Now turns down the most hyped card ever.

He won't have enough time to cycle off his PED's. He learned his lesson about 100 UFC cards ago when he got busted for being a vagrant cheater.

Lyoto The Dragon man.

Bad ass walk off from Jones on that one.

That's my point man, most of those big names on his record all lost their aura proir to fighting him.

Jon Jones is 36 and stipe is 40
Stipe is 41 and you conveniently forgot to address the rest of his post as in his inactivity for 2+ years and being brutally KO’d in his last fight meaning he is getting a title fight for all the wrong reasons.
Can’t wait for you to hand wave that away.

and Jon is turning 37 in 5 months making them 5 years apart thank you for the correction
<WhatIsThis>

You know 42 is older than 37, right? Jon is apparently the champ, which means his job is to defend the title against the top contender, not declare "I'm getting older", and therefore needs to find someone 5 years older than himself and coming off a brutal KO loss to fight.
