Jon Jones can't fight off the back foot

Do you think Aspinall would go the full 5 rounds against Dominic Reyes in a 50/50 fight? Or Santos? Or fail to finish Anthony Smith?
Nah man, Reyes has lost 4 of his last 5. Santos has lost 8 of his last 9. Smith has lost 5 of his last 7. Santos, and Smith are both former MW's and Reyes would be a MW if he wasn't so tall. All 3 are probably getting wrecked by 260lb Tom.

DC was winning second fight after first 2 rounds. And we got NC at the end because of roids.
He was winning on everything but the scorecards. One had it 2-0 Jon, the other two had it 1-1. The ole winning until he wasn't. Gets ya every time.

Easier said then done but I feel Tom has the tools to get the job done.

Mistake, did not see it well, 2 judges had it 19/19, majority draw and one for Jones 20/18 (there is mistake on judges paper in McCarthy total score).

Jones 1245, Reyes 3. Jones 145 is absolutely clear if you even try to assess damage as you're supposed to, and rounds two and three aren't actually difficult to score. And, of course, in retrospect it's pretty easy to tell who did the most damage in the first three rounds by noticing who was more broken in the last two, which is a problem with round-by-round scoring; later rounds really do provide information on what happened in earlier rounds.

Basically, Reyes didn't do anything that counted as progress towards finishing the fight while Jones was doing damage all fight except for in Round 3.
I didnt know Sal D'Amato was a sherdogger

All that being said, it did seem like DC was having a bit more success in the rematch and it was more competitive. But it felt like Jones was starting to pull away right up to when he landed the kick. The first 2 were damn close, and competitive rounds. I just don't know that even without the kick DC would have taken the last 3.

Yes, DC looked faster than Jones - but that reach is a big issue, DC has to spend much more energy and eat some shots to close the distance each time. So not easy to pressure Jones like that for 5 rounds.

Gus exploited this and Reyes beat him by making him move backwards. Stipe's corner was SCREAMING at him to close the distance when Jones turned and ran away. If Aspinall can get him moving backwards from the opening bell, he should have a lot of success. If he stands there and lets Jones kick out his knees, he's going to end up like Stipe. If I were Jones (who always works on a 'signature' move for each fight) I would definitely work on some kind of counter or take down off the back foot, because that's where he's going to be a lot and that's where he is most vulnerable. If I were Tom, I'd work on takedowns of my own. We haven't see Jones on the bottom, It's my guess he's not all that great from there.
if what your saying is true

Takedowns yes, but do not think that counter on the back foot can work for Jones, he just lacks speed and punching power there, he would just get in trouble like that.
