fact is guys like jon win. while guys who sit there and judge and dont understand that level have less. simple as.

No buddy, I'm winning and Jon is corrupting his soul. It's clear as day going by how he keeps getting in the news for scandal after scandal. There is a lot of things in prize fighting that can corrupt you and a lot of fighters lives get messed up, including Jon's.

And now he is really messing up his legacy, because the duck thing will stick for longer than some seem to think, if he doesn"t fight Tom.

Stipe is most definitely not an "infamous" eyepoker. He actually lost two fights due to being eyepoked. One was Struve, the other is that coward DC who knew he poked Stipes eye several times, and each time he ran in for the finish.

That is honestly insane. The rationale for the glove change was to 'reduce eye pokes' but they're happy to just change it back because the most notorious eye poker in the UFC asked nicely.

I know why UFC always bent the rules for Conor seeing as how he's by far the biggest star and draw in MMA history. I have absolutely no idea why they let Jon get his way with everything though

Even if it's for authentic reasons, it could effect Stipe's reactions after taking such a hard eye poke from DC.

That said, Stipe has a rock solid mentality & I'm sure he's worked through this dynamic of reacting strangely to the fear of eye pokes.

He could be, sure. But that's not what was said in the video.

I doubt to the commision is behind it though. But maybe. I mean other orgs have to use their own gloves, so they have to at least be somewhat flexible regarding that stuff.

He still threathened with his fingers stretched out in the Reyes fight. It's is illegal according to the rule change they made specially for Jon. It's instinctual and you can see he is holding back. I think he was trying to save his image a little by refraining from it as much as possible.



And you never know in what shape Stipe will come into the cage. If he does have a miraculous near return to his old form, Jon might need all the tricks that are in his repertoire. Jon hasn't looked particularly young himself. He could use some assistance, besides the boner pills.

Or do you think he has suddenly developed a moral character where he won't do that kind of stuff anymore? Only wonen beating for Jon, no more eye poking though.

UFC is pretty much doing their own testing

They changed the gloves for him, they changed the 12-6 rule for him... wonder what else the UFC would do for Jon Jones
