Cases I've personally been involved in as a health care worker:

Man grabbed his wife's wrist when she tried to hit him and she pressed charges without any injury. We x-rayed her wrist/hand, no bruising/swelling, etc. charges were later dropped after my and the ER doc's documentation were given. Wife was mad that he had been out drinking with his friends instead of being home and he called her a controlling bitch, so she hit him. He declined to press charges, she opted to.

Woman battered by her husband with a black eye. She had blood on her, looked like she also had a bloody nose. Husband ran after the attack, had prior criminal history and was on probation. Minor injuries for her overall. When they found husband and it all panned out, she suspected him of cheating and used one of those little tasers on him and when she tried to do it again he bolted. She chased him outside, tripped and fell on her face.

And PS, you could be entirely right, as I already said. But it's 100% conjecture, so you're not really right, it's just guessing. Oh, and you were inferring that SubAbuse was saying that beating women isn't a big deal. He didn't even remotely say that. I could see the other charges because he endangered others but didn't intend to hurt anyone; but beating the mother of his children is unforgivable. If my dad beat my mom I would kill him and I've said the same to him; he said he was proud I said it and he would deserve to be killed if he beat my mom.
