It’s only cause he dehydrated himself and cut so much weight before sparring 😂

Seriously. What a fuckin idiot allowing this to be filmed period.

But trying to move to HW and then getting destroyed by some little kid.

Dude.....

Walker also has trash pure boxing, which doesn’t help.
Horrible 7 years ago and when he finally corrects it somewhat he is pretty much done.
It would have been interesting to see what the right gym would have done for his carrier.
But It probably would have to be the perfect fit for a guy like him.

Really lucky he didnt fight Jiri lol

JW is gonna be the 205 Overeem in the next few years. Oh did i say years? Sorry, i mean months.
Reem's recovery is bad. JW just gets flatlines most of the time..

A lot of MMA fighters are so damn sloppy with their striking.

SAD

I remember everyone thought he'd be the Jon Jones killer LOL
The stylistic rational for why that would happen? I shit you not, as stated by Sherdog posters the reason he could beat someone more skilled than him in literal every aspect of fighting was: "big dick energy"

This place is a joke...

Honestly he deserved it for going nuts at the end there.

Wtf?

With the shot Walker hit that dude with, he deserved to get lit up

He hit that dude with an uncoordinated shot waay too hard for sparring, and dude delivered it right back as he should’ve

I mean, you throw 100% shots in sparring be prepared to eat 100% shots, then it ain’t sparring no more, ya’ll fightin’ LoL

A 168lbs walk around 180.
So not a "small" man.

Probably shouldn't say this.

But early in his UFC career,
GSP used to train his boxing to the Grant' Brother gym in Montréal where many good boxer from Québec also trained there...

GSP got dropped badly by Olivier Lontchi in sparring.

Lontchi was a 118lbs...

(Was a good boxer, once fight for a world title Vs Juan Manuel Lopez)

But still.

Weird ass sparring session, I wonder what the context of it was. Huge size difference, Zak seems to be going at near 100% from the short clip and Johnny seems to kind of not be going too hard until the end when he seems to probably be annoyed. Then he gets KO'd for it. Then Zak's coach kind of talking shit to the camera lol. Very bizarre.
I hate to say it but johnny is constantly victimized because he's stupid

Well if you get dropped like that in practice wouldn't you stop? It's practice

I've never been dropped, but no, if I were, I would get right up unless I wasn't physically capable.

I would never intentionally just sit there, like a shattered little boy.

seemed that the boxer was going all out from the get go, where Johnny wasnt going very hard initially. doesnt change the fact that he has a suspect chin

They did a promo for a smaller fighter with weak chin walker. What did you expect.

I would have loved to see him at HW to see if his chin held up whitout the weight cut but he probably should just retire if a guy 40 pounds less than you puts him out like that.

Here you got just the finish:

"Hey Johnny, check out this replay of Wonderboy getting KO'd"

You can't go to boxing like Francis. Even Francis finds it difficult in boxing.

Having watched boxing as a kid, since the mid-70s, and actually boxing (from the late 80s to the mid-90s), all of this is instinct.

I've never been dropped in my life, have a pretty good chin, but if I were dropped, there is NO WAY I would stay down.

I been wobbled, flash-stunned, etc. — and my first reaction is to get it back.

Anyone who "just sits there," after being hurt, or after being dropped, does not have a true fighting spirit.

"Just sitting there" = QUIT

You've acknowledged you're defeated.

That is not the stuff of which World-Class fighters are made.

World-Class fighters, as long as they are conscious, and as long as they have a breath of life in them, will always get up, and will always keep going, know matter what.

Only THE REF can stop them from fighting; they will never stop on their own.

Walker has neither the chin, nor the heart, to ever qualify as a World-Class Fighter.
Its a training season, If someone's getting dropped and and trying to get It back he'll only make matters worse.. he'll either get back and hurt his partner on a stupid macho vengence or he's getting out therenon bad legs getting more damage
