It’s only cause he dehydrated himself and cut so much weight before sparring
Seriously. What a fuckin idiot allowing this to be filmed period. It’s only cause he dehydrated himself and cut so much weight before sparring
Horrible 7 years ago and when he finally corrects it somewhat he is pretty much done.Walker also has trash pure boxing, which doesn’t help.
Reem's recovery is bad. JW just gets flatlines most of the time..JW is gonna be the 205 Overeem in the next few years. Oh did i say years? Sorry, i mean months.
A lot of MMA fighters are so damn sloppy with their striking.
They are sparring dude
The stylistic rational for why that would happen? I shit you not, as stated by Sherdog posters the reason he could beat someone more skilled than him in literal every aspect of fighting was: "big dick energy"I remember everyone thought he'd be the Jon Jones killer LOL
I hate to say it but johnny is constantly victimized because he's stupidWeird ass sparring session, I wonder what the context of it was. Huge size difference, Zak seems to be going at near 100% from the short clip and Johnny seems to kind of not be going too hard until the end when he seems to probably be annoyed. Then he gets KO'd for it. Then Zak's coach kind of talking shit to the camera lol. Very bizarre.
TF does that have to do with anything?
Can’t agree with you more.Seriously. What a fuckin idiot allowing this to be filmed period.
But trying to move to HW and then getting destroyed by some little kid.
Dude.....
Well if you get dropped like that in practice wouldn't you stop? It's practice
I would have loved to see him at HW to see if his chin held up whitout the weight cut but he probably should just retire if a guy 40 pounds less than you puts him out like that.
Here you got just the finish:
Its a training season, If someone's getting dropped and and trying to get It back he'll only make matters worse.. he'll either get back and hurt his partner on a stupid macho vengence or he's getting out therenon bad legs getting more damageHaving watched boxing as a kid, since the mid-70s, and actually boxing (from the late 80s to the mid-90s), all of this is instinct.
I've never been dropped in my life, have a pretty good chin, but if I were dropped, there is NO WAY I would stay down.
I been wobbled, flash-stunned, etc. — and my first reaction is to get it back.
Anyone who "just sits there," after being hurt, or after being dropped, does not have a true fighting spirit.
"Just sitting there" = QUIT
You've acknowledged you're defeated.
That is not the stuff of which World-Class fighters are made.
World-Class fighters, as long as they are conscious, and as long as they have a breath of life in them, will always get up, and will always keep going, know matter what.
Only THE REF can stop them from fighting; they will never stop on their own.
Walker has neither the chin, nor the heart, to ever qualify as a World-Class Fighter.
