Economy John Hopkins : US healthcare cost is highest in developed world.

Bachelors degrees outside of the US take 3 years because they don't take useless gen ed classes like communication 101 (lol) and you can start taking your masters degree courses during your bachelors to speed it up. The US college system, like healthcare, seems designed to just be long and expensive.
I think the US system aims to turn out more well-rounded individuals, persons who will think about matters and issues not just limited to their chosen field of study.

Govt taking over healthcare, there's gonna be high taxes and a whole lot of procedures not covered.

That's why you don't want govt paid healthcare.
Many states or counties have free H.C. for certain class of people. And ofcourse we have Medicaid and Medicare. The US is already the most expensive developed country (H.C. costs) . So why not just go with single payer Universal H.C. system.

The Germans, Scandinavians, Aussies, Canadians, Dutch, Brits etc.. can't all be wrong .

Yea I was always on the fence about it not sure either way. After having my son I've realized our system is fucking ridiculous. I'm willing to try anything over what we have now even if it might lead to a worse system we have to try something else.

Your opening says it all, you dont know what I am talking about because you didnt actually read it, or understand it.

"Sanders could offer the prospect of “free” health care for all"
https://www.newyorker.com/news/john-cassidy/bernie-sanders-and-the-realists

You will find this shit all over leftist news outlets and spewing out of the mouths of those pushing it. And yes, they say it to trick socialists into thinking they are getting something without paying for it.

And Europe still has privatized insurance you dumb cunt.

Germany? Gothaer Group, AXA, Allianz, DKV...just 4 of the 113 insurance companies Germany PAYS to provide its people insurance.

I can do this shit for every European nation. YOU, pay your GOVERNMENT money via forced tax, to give to PRIVATE INSURANCE COMPANIES to provide YOU with HEALTH CARE. That is not socialism. That is forced Capitalism. And the fact you cannot even see that as a lie shows how great a lie it is. Such well trained dogs you cant see you are literally owned by private companies since you must work and must pay them, by law.
Chill kid you are going to have a stroke. Stop being so angry about semantics. You know very well what posters mean when they say socialist healthcare. Give it a name. What ever.

This was about european healthcare. You dont seem to know how it works.

My healthcare and coverage is better than yours. I pay via taxes. You get raped but don't pay the taxes.
Added private options have nothing to do with anything.

Not really because the US system still requires multiyear residencies after medical school. You don't walk out of medical school and start practicing. And no disrespect to physiotherapists but there's nowhere near an equivalent level of testing and licensing required for that field as there is for doctors.

We still have residencies as well. Regardless you dont want a young doctor with no background of chemistry or pharmacokinetics, and there isnt enough time during med school to teach it plus everything else.

And exactly. If a lesser field increased their requirements why should a higher one lower theirs? I have numerous doctor friends and work with over 30 of them. Nor many of them would agree with lowering requirements except maybe elimination of the mcat and other arbitrary nonsense. Eliminating requirement of an undergrad In a field that helps immensely is not productiv le and would end up with ill equipped and watered down doctors.

Lowering cost of tuition would be of a better benefit. Some. us schools charge 60k a year. This is insane.

Chill educated person you are having too much fun.Stop trying to use words for what they actually mean.

Fixed that for you.

I will not use words for what they do not mean so socialist pigs get to say socialism works when in fact its forced capitalism.

Either stop lying, or use words correctly. Its not my fault your political dogma is so weak it turns to doing bullshit like use words incorrectly to get the least educated people to support it...Just say you accept being taxed to prop up capitalist companies so you get health care?!? Seriously...how weak minded are you that you MUST call it Socialist? Are you really that much of a slave? Were you trained so well to hate all things Capitalist that you cannot call it what it is?!?

Lol...

Instead of starting with trying to insure everyone, they should have started with costs. There has never been a conversation regarding health care costs. It is never discussed.

Keep ranting about semantics like a 5 year old. I guess it keeps you from actually adressing the topic of healthcare in Europe. A subject you are clearly completely clueless about. And it´s mainly US right wing media that calls it "socialist". No one here calls it that or thinks it´s free.

Bruh, in another thread today, he derided polls who don't poll EVERYONE. He's not having a good day, so don't pick on him.

Bruh, in another thread today I said polls that say a person has a 98% chance of winning, yet loses, is still relevant because its within acceptable margins of error because im never having a good day!

that just makes it look like you dont understand how percentages work.

Then why deride polling sample sizes in this very thread?
