Joe Schilling sucker punching drunk guy

Man, maybe that's just me but it sounds kinda harsh.

In Russia he'd probably get fined, and that's it. No criminal record, nothing. I mean it was a fair fight, what's the big deal. Nobody died, Joe didn't try to finish the guy off with gnp/soccer kicks etc.

I remember Rasul Mirzaev knocking out a dude on a street like 10 years ago; dude hit his head on pavement and died. Rasul did 2 years, IIRC, and that's fair - you kill somebody, you go to jail.

It was not a fight at all. U had a guy upset at being shoved out of the way and who was doing what Marc mcyoung calls the monkey dance posturing while the other guy turns around and physically assaults him. It was a violent attack and evidence of how mma and martial sports is turning the young men of America into savages etc etc and that's only what the prosecutor is going to say.

As a matter of fact as I have mentioned earlier in this thread even simple assault van brign a max 6 month jail sentence. Whereas killing someone unintentionally in a fight is voluntary manslaughter and is a serious felony bringing max of 15 years jail. If the victim died and schilling had caused the video to be recorded in anticipation of the violence he would uncork it would be a premeditated assault and it may even be murder.

Joe schilling mad that he was a shitty mma fighter so he beats up untrained guys.

What a piece of shit.

Seems a ridiculous excuse to me, am I supposed to believe that a white guy made a racist remark to another white guy?
it's the go to defense against white guys - claim they said something racist to justify whatever you did to them
Schilling with his 82 IQ saw everyone else do it, and figured maybe it would work for him also

Weakminded. Imagine this guy in a world without laws and enforcement.
in such a world, everyone has guns on them - so nobody gives a shit if Schilling is a kickboxer - he's not bulletproof

You are truly horrible at analogies.

Joe schilling is the one that went back and got in the guy's face. The guy was never even facing him until Joe turned back to get in his face.

Would it have been ok for Joe to shoot the guy and claim self defense? I mean he felt threatened by the nerdy guy whose face he got in for saying "hey", so would that warrant shooting him to remove the threat, or just knocking the guy out with his hands open at his waist?

And if the guy attack joe from behind after yelling Hey and Joe kept walking would that have been okay???..

Joe turned around to address the threatening yelling from the drunk guy behind him...With his hands open and down

Your assessing the situation from a after the fact view point where im looking at it from in that moment poiint of view...which is how you should look at it

We could sit here and play scenarios out all day or say what could or should of happened...

Hindsight would say Joe could of made other choices so could of the drunk guy...

In the moment thinking shows Joe was ending a potential threat before it got out of hand further...cuz once someone lunges like that or does the fake.punch shit...a fight is close to happening more times then not...and in the public arena with no refs and rules things could escalate very quick ..so Joe ending it quick is in his best interests from a self defense stand point..what if the guy had a knife on him..or grab something from.the bar or had like 6 friends around the corner...all things joe wouldnt know in the moment...so if someone is posting up and feint attacks you have to choose then and there fight or flight and whenever u have to make that choice then that means u were under threat...notice joe didnt hit him anymore after the k.o...if he was out of control and enraged he would of kept going

Being drunk isnt an excuse to yell at people and lunge...and throwing punches as first response isnt the best decision either but that comes down to being nice or not...Joe isnt nice...

Why don’t more Pro fighters just laugh at these kind of dudes and walk away. Joe unleashing a thunderous 2 shot doesn’t really do anything but prove what he already knew; that he could/can/did beat the hell outta that annoying drunk.

Just walk away, boys.

<22>

Any more of your fruity fantasies of some 5'7 office nerd looking at you the wrong way so you can sucker punch him that you'd like to share with the karate forum? Do the women start swooning after you've proven what a badass you are in your little fantasy?

<{Heymansnicker}>

The guy's literally wearing a shirt that says "Ring / Cage / Parking Lot" lol
Yeah maybe don't flex against a dude with a t shirt that says that? If Schilling is the monster everyone says he is, with the evidence on his shirt, then the dude is pretty much an idiot for going with the bro flex instead of a simple apology.
These threads are always great in unintentionally separating and identifying the assholes from the other regular people

We need the assholes AND the regular people. Can't imagine Sherdog in any other way. Fuck Reddit.

Nah, I tried and got thru about 6 pages.

I'm definitely not "out of depth here".

Schilling is an idiot. Anyone who acts like that shouldn't be allowed to interact with society.

That man should be in a cage. Not one for fighting either.
That's alot of judgement to pass on a situation we know nothing about right now. We don't know if the guy was asking for it the whole night. It does look dumb on Joe's part to go for the kill like that. A simple slap would do.

Unless the guy broke his jaw or suffered bad injuries i think alot of people in here are overreacting. I think every man should get punched in the face atleast once in life. Today was his day AND he'll most likely get paid.

None of the above would work as justification in a court of law...

He should update this shirt (found it on his merchandise site):

Fixed.

Joe has no chill

however the breakdown is drunk guy is blocking the path, joe politely moves him aside while keeping a close ear for whats to come.

Clearly drunk guy mouths off cuz you see joe turn like he heard something from a mouthy fewl

Then

the guy clearly stepped to joe for joe stepping to him.

3 piece and a soda

clear overreaction.

Schilling is a trained fighter.

That guy looked about 5'3, 140 pounds. (flabby too)

This didn't happen in Russia so get that nonsense the fuck outta here.
No need to get so worked up, lol. We're having a discussion here.
How was it a fair fight when one guy is a professional fighter. That dude trains to do this to people. The other guy is drunk and probably has soft office hands.
This is completely irrelevant IMO. You make an aggressive move, like the little dude in the video = you're ready to fight and you, as a grown man, should expect anything. If you can't or don't want to fight - don't try to aggressively confront people over minor shit like getting slightly nudged.

I mean, that's just common sense, isn't it.
Get the fuck outta here.
NO U.

Stop reaching. It was an assault. Period. I hope the victim reports him to the police.

None of what u said is reflected in the law of your country that i presume is America. Doing the above will get u in trouble with the law and get sued.
