After watching it closer, it does look like the guy was about to do sum

It's hard to see his other arm but it's very borderline. I could see a judge or cop siding with Joe and saying the guy was being aggressive or making threatening maneuvers. I could also see it going the other way.

In this case the fact of the aasault is already basically proven on the prosecutors side because it was caught on video, displayed by the people and he even admitted it on social media. Therefore unless schilling can prove his defence of self defense he has already lost.

Facts are he went to a loud ass bar where it's clear folks party and then got all butt hurt that some dude was a little tipsy standing in his way and got in this dude's face about it and the dude got in his face back and Joe hit him.

You can't go to bars, get in people's faces for being tipsy, and then hit when they get in your face. That's both illegal and being an asshole.

Joe punched someone who was stepping forward throwing a punch. Joe didn't respond with "maximum force" had he done that, the guy would probably be dead. He gave him a quick 1/2 and quit. The guy attempted to throw a punch, Joe was faster. And he stopped.
