Joe Schilling sucker punching drunk guy

Actually I find it's the opposite. The more we train the more self controlled ad stronger in will and discipline we ought to become. That is one of the biggest benefits of training martial arts and martial sports.

The problem is with some people is they bring their ego into it and seek to afirm their self regard based on how good they are martially and they tend to be bullies.

you have a lot to learn

Thus why i said self defense cases are hard with lots of gray area now didnt i??

But question my intelligence some more bud...
They're not that hard. In this case it's quite clear that the tiny dude posed no physical threat to professional kickboxer Joe Schilling.

Speaking about intelligence, I hope you're from a French speaking community in Ontario, because if your English is like this as a native speaker you should feel ashamed.

Doesn't matter if he didn't premeditate it. Someone shouting hey at you doesn't mean you get in their face and then swing on them the instant they puff their chest too.

Good luck making the argument in court he was in some imminent danger from the formerly dancing dude he had to swing his way out of. At any second he could have turned around and walked away and the situation would have ended but he had to flex.

If he was assulting him why didnt he hit em once he was down...clearly hes out of control angry maniac right? Why didnt he stomp him then..

Oh ya...cuz the punches where thrown in reponse to the guys movements...we cant even see the guys other hand..it could be a fist..but what i do see is joe standing there with his hands down and open befoee the gesture happens

Joe put his hands on him first and little dude didn't even touch him.

Stop. You're just embarrassing yourself now.

Maybe you're actually Joe, or maybe his biggest fan.

There's no excuse for what Joe did. There was no imminent threat to Joe. Some drunk guy saying "hey" when he was shoved out of the way was no excuse to flatline the guy.

All Joe is doing is giving MMA a bad name. This is how some people view the athletes in our sport. And Joe is added to that stereotype.

Lol

Joe pushed him out of the way like an asshole… the guy said something (like most people would since it was uncalled for)

then a PRO fighter wanted to display his alpha ness to some little manlet

You’re right. This is how the world works. Joe now gets in serious financial trouble because he was too fucking stupid and hot headed.

Real pros like Serra and Bisping know how to actually avoid / defuse a situation. They don’t need to prove to the random drunks they are tough.
We’ll see, Joe probably has a solid defense but either way the stress and time wasted on whatever comes next isn’t worth it in my opinion. But that’s on Joe now.

lol ‘real pros’ man, we live in a funny world. Bisping? Lmao I assume you’re talking about the story he just recently told.

but I’m sure neither matt or Mike ever laid out anybody who had no chance in the fight

God some straight retards in here. Dude is a pos, pushes the dude then the dude says something, because who wouldn't, then he just attacks him
Guy clearly has some serious issues. Didn't he attack some dude on video infront of his gym like 6 months ago or something too?

Yep and that video might be even worse. The harmless homeless guy clearly had mental problems and got thumped for the crime of showering in the gym. Schilling is a vile bully.

What does him being a professional fighter have anything do with a bar altercation..its irrelevant and could be seen an prejudice in a court room...he is human like anyone else and can be hurt or killed in a bar fight just like anyone else... This isnt a sport related case so his job has no bearing...had it been in a gym and he attacked during sparring or something sure...

But this is a wide open scenario that could of gone many different ways..just cuz the guy ended up on the floor doesnt mean hes innocent..

And im.english speaking...i just type fast on my phone lol

if every single response to your post isnt convincing enough that youre blatantly wrong, then nothing will be.
The day I start caring about the crowd consensus in the Sherdog Heavys is the day some muscled up douchebag should sucker punch me in the face

Did u miss the part where he lunged??? Lol..

Thats physical provocation..

Again u dont have to wait to get hit or hurt to claim self defense...

Thats not how the law works....

Ugh..

So tired of people not knowing wtf there talking about..

Self defense cases are notoriously hard to win for both defendants and prosecutors hence why they usually end in settlements or a decision that pisses off alot of people...police brutality and all that...

A good defense lawyer could definitely win this case ....
