Joe Schilling sucker punching drunk guy

Are you sure about the fact that Joe isn't going to get fucking charged for this? He touched the guy first, he chose to engage. Drunk guy was standing back timidly after being moved. Whatever the sins of this little drunk dude are, even if he was yelling abuse at Joe which he obviously wasn't, are lesser than the guy flooring for clicks/views/his ego.

I never said Joe wasnt going to get charged, I dont think he should be but Im not the one making that decision
Youre the one stating these random bar laws so I simply asked if you know that for a fact

I agree that is was more aggressive than he needed to be but trying to paint the drunk dude as an innocent victim is just false, he faked aggression and paid for it, thats a fact

he literally looked for the altercation. The other guy was so drunk, he could not even stand still.

Come on, if you really have to do something, just push him away. He could have just walked away, ignored whatever stupid shit the drunk guy said.
He was a coward. Drunk guy is 5 foot tall.
I wonder if he had the balls to punch a big dude.

Fucking coward. next time, drunk guy might have a gun, or his friend might have one.

Seems a ridiculous excuse to me, am I supposed to believe that a white guy made a racist remark to another white guy?

Guy comes off as a sociopath to be honest. I think it's just an excuse for him to lay people out, and then post it on his social media like he's a hero.

Maybe it's time for Schilling to learn something else than just being able to kick and punch people. It's not going to work out too well for him if this is how he keeps going at it. Sooner or later he's going to get locked up for good.

You better have some proof of your MMA/boxing/TMA/whatever record if you're going to come in and start talking down to people based on your training, bro. Almost every gym in America has self defense classes to bring it some extra cash by appealing to the weekend warriors and soccer moms, and every gym I've ever trained at has given those people the rundown on how you can't just go around beating people up because you will go to jail if you do.
You lack reading comprehension

Its about not getting hurt not beating people up just because. Could Joe have handled it better yeah but he didnt raise a fist until that dude lunges forward

Your professor wouldnt tell you to let that guy hit you

Alright, I'm gonna stop going back and forth because we're just obviously not going to agree. Joe touched the guy first, approached him aggressively first, and threw the first punch. That's the only thing that really matters in this.

Also, how is this a "Sucker Punch" ...? The guy clearly puffs his chest up and does that stupid fake punch shit people do when they're hoping to make someone flinch and Joe punched him.

Was it an over reaction? Probably. But that was not a sucker punch.
People here would rather let that drunk dude punch them in the face its kinda weird

Joe. Touched. The. Guy. First. He was obviously looking for this fight.

I see youre from Australia and I dont know the laws there, I also dont know where the video was shot but where Im from that is absolutely considered self defense
Stand your ground, homie
The laws of self defense are pretty identical abbroad. I'm guessing this happened in California.

California law allows use of force in self-defense or defense of others when you reasonably believe that you or they are in imminent danger of physical harm, and that force is necessary to stop the danger. However, you may only use the degree of force reasonably necessary under the circumstances.

All of those are up for debate, the guy has grounds to sue for assault, would he win ? Certainly couldn't say for sure but he certainly would have a case. It's not that complicated.

To the point, Schilling also instigated it by approaching him, it would be hard to argue Schilling was the one in imminent danger when he approached the individual in a intimidating manner.

I can't even work out what part of him would even consider that this makes him look good. It's just a random harmless office worker out having a good time and then getting flatlined by a world class kickboxer.

Feel really sorry for the dude.

He just posted the evidence the police wil use to hopefully convict him for assault and battery and to be sued by that guy - he clearly had zero justification to strike the man.

This may be a reach from me, but consider the fact the only other time he went viral and got a lot of attention was for a similar stunt with that homeless dude that jacked off in his gym bathroom or something. Could be clout chasing. Seeing a drunk dude at a bar and whispering to his bud, "Hey get your phone out and watch this." after a few drinks doesn't seem like it's insane to think Joe would do.

lmao bro nothing about anything that happened before the face to face was aggressive

Joe barley brushed that dude after he bumped into him if anything Joe kept him from tripping
