Joe Schilling sucker punching drunk guy

He walked past the guy, turned around and walked back, got in his face, then hammered him. It was all him.

Looked like the drunk guy may have said something to him after Schilling moved past him
I agree that just ignoring the drunk guy would have been smarter but once he turned back around the guy clearly tried to bow up on him, why did you leave that part out of your story?

Almost looks fake...

Like why is this guy getting filmed just as schill is walking by....

Its like perfectly framed..you dont even really see the shots land and the way no 1 does anything after the shots is suspect..and schill just happens to walk perfectly into the frame..

But it could be real schillings would hit anyone...this im.sure

He said "Hey" after being rudely moved out of the way. Stop acting like this guy was a threat to anyone. I know people have their self defense fantasies about killing people in street fights, but you have to defend yourself within reason. You can't just lay out and bounce someone who's smaller than you, drunker than you, and untrained because of shit like this. A fall on the back of his head on the ground that hard could have killed them.

Combine that with the fact that he had every opportunity in the world to just walk away. What does a world champion kickboxer have to prove by doing this? That he's a fucking thug and is only known outside of the small karate circles for beating up people with no training on video.

Why would Joe film himself assaulting someone as a fake, that makes no sense.

As someone said, likely because he was doing some gay dance moves.

What the fuck does bow up to him mean? Did he swing? No. Push him? No. He moved forward. Something the meat head already did.

lol that dude was no threat whatsoever, there's no justification for a trained fighter doing that and I imagine Joe is going to find that out in court.

If youre not a threat then you shouldnt fake it, which the guy clearly tried to do

The guy made an aggressive move on Schilling so he's not innocent in this, but a pro fighter needs to know better.

Schilling is a trained killer and much larger than this guy. Schilling just comes across as a goon here, maybe someone who is insecure and angry that his career has gone down the tubes.

Drunk dude made a fight move and got flattened.

I must have missed the sucker punch...

*Edit for clarification:
Shill-ing did turn around to escalate the incident in to a confrontation because the drunk vacuum salesman
lipped off so yes, he's at fault and is liable. With that in mind and the aggravating fact that he's a pro fighter,
he's most likely looking at criminal charges and a lawsuit.

I was just saying that the salesman got hit because he made the (big) mistake of feinting.

Anyway, what he did was wrong, he should not have done that. I mean the dork.

Lol he doesn’t explain what happened at all on his IG. Also keeps saying this guy was a “racist”, but doesn’t explain why. In the video it looks like he aggressively pushes the guy away first for no reason as well. He comes across as a complete fucking idiot to be honest, unless there’s some further explanation that he isn’t giving.

What an absolute cock. Aggressively moves the dude out of the way and then hits him with a combo when he hints at retaliation.

Hope he does time for it tbh.
I have to say this is my view too.
The dude was clearly drunk and wobbling around, but there's people like that at every party. He probably said something " smart" to Schilling, no doubt, but you got to learn to walk away, and not just pop people because you can when they're being a bit obnoxious at a party.

Schilling total over-reaction in my view and he just wanted to slug someone, so....he did. That IS assault under the law and he should get some consequence for it, as the video is clear.

Note: Instagram removed Schilling's post about this incident (Same video) see here :

No, you just got an agenda so youre distorting the facts of the video
No. You're saying it's "clear" when it's obviously not, we don't see the other guy throw a punch, he ever so slightly twists his body which could mean nothing, either way it is not grounds for self defense and you're delusional if you think there are no grounds to sue for assault.
